Stephanie was starving to death but she was hesitant to start eating. When Caspian noticed her, he knew that she was hungry but she didn’t move her hand to eat first.
"Why aren't you starting to eat? Don’t you like the food?" Caspian was dubious.
"I – I didn’t mean that. It’s be--cause you aren’t starting to eat," she mentioned.
Caspian realized that she was being shy and that piqued his interest. He did not know that he had been staring at her face.
