“What can we do for you until the pack meeting,” Grant asks me, concerned “There must be something we can do now to help keep your family safe.”

Grant is a good man. I am grateful that we met, even if it wasn’t necessarily under the most conventional of circumstances.

“I thank you for your kindness Grant,” I tell him with appreciation, “It will not be forgotten by our pack. There is something that I need to ask you to do for us. Please let me know immediately if you hear of someone who might want to wish us harm. Even if it seems like just idle talk. I need to be able to assess any threat that might present itself as soon as possible.”
