I don't know what to think anymore. My visit to the house office yielded nothing; Gael didn't have the decency to call me and say anything. My heart is burning with worry, and the day is already bright, yet I couldn't manage to sleep. I spent the whole night walking back and forth in the living room, and I confess I'm about to call the police. However, when the front door finally opens, and he walks in, I feel my poor, tormented heart race excessively. I can't tell if it's relief at seeing him alive and well or anger at disappearing for so long without a single word. Gael takes off a coat I don't recognize and gives me a tired look.
