His feet hit the ground under the dead silence. It was pitch dark with no source of light except the beam of moon light declining below on the land surface from between the trees. Ryley had the amethyst stone for the lightning purpose, he did not use it though.
The reason was clear as anything— because, Zalreth sent his another message while Ryley was on his path to reach the woods land. The message was not really a message but a command that certainly directed him to not bring any source of light with him.
It was the full moon night, and today, as per the details he had got from the library of Africa, was the night when Zalreth can acquire powers. That powers can come from the Rex Stone... That was why he asked for it today by any how. And he knew he can only get it if he takes away the rebellious Ryley's mate with himself.
