Becca POV

By the time we woke up, Lola was gone, leaving behind an empty space that weighed heavily on my heart.

"This is all my fault," I murmured

Ravi's hand found my shoulder, offering silent support. "Hey, you did what you thought was right. Lola just needs some time to process it all," he reassured me, his voice gentle and understanding.

Despite his comforting words, I couldn't shake the feeling of guilt gnawing at me.

"We should get going," Ravi suggested, breaking the heavy silence that hung between us.

As we arrived at my apartment, Ravi turned to look at me, his expression serious yet determined.

"I'll talk to Naomi about it," he declared.

"As much as I despise Bas, if there's a way to stop whatever prophecy, I'm willing to do it. I want nothing more than for you to be happy, Becks," he said earnestly.

Moved by his sentiment, I wrapped my arms around him in a tight hug, feeling the warmth of his embrace enveloping me like a protective shield.

"Thank you," I whispered, my voic

I watched as Ravi moved to her side, his expression filled with concern. “Hey, love,” he said softly, his eyes locking with hers. Naomi managed a small smile, but her body tensed when she noticed Bas in the room. “What… what is he doing here?” Naomi’s voice trembled with alarm as she struggled to sit up. “Naomi, please calm down. He isn’t going to hurt you,” I reassured her, stepping closer to her and positioning myself between her and Bas. “He’s a monster, that’s what they do…hurt innocent people,” she replied, her voice quivering with fear as she glanced nervously at Bas. “No, he’s not. He wants to help us find a way to put an end to the prophecy so humans can finally be free from werewolves. And the only way that can happen is if you help us,” I explained, trying to reassure her. “This wasn’t supposed to happen. My father sacrificed his life for me so I could fina

I found myself staring at the clock, its ticking growing louder with each passing second. My legs tapped nervously against the floor, the rhythm betraying my anxiety. Bas had promised to be here, but there was still no sign of him.Frustration bubbled up inside me as I tried calling him again, but my attempts were met with silence. Each ring felt like an eternity, and the absence of his voice only heightened my unease."Ughhh," I groaned, running a hand through my hair.We had to get the belladonna flower tonight because, in a few hours, it would be my 21st birthday, and they would come for me. I slowly opened my eyes, my breaths coming in shallow gasps as I tried to understand where we were. The room was dim, shadows dancing on the walls, making it hard to pinpoint our exact location. I tried to move, but my body felt too weak. The sharp sting of ropes wrapped tightly around my wrists reminded me of my helpless state as I sat on a hard, wooden chair. Suddenly, I heard a soft, familiar groan. "Ravi?" I called out, my voice barely a whisper. "Y...yeah," he responded weakly from somewhere nearby. "Are you okay?" I asked, my voice trembling with fear. "I...I'm fine," he replied, though his voice didn't sound convincing. Just then, the door creaked open, and I heard footsteps approaching. My heart pounded in my chest as the figure drew nearer. When the light finally revealed his face, my anger flared up. "You," I spat through gritted teeth, glaring at Joe standing in front of me with a smug smirk plastered across his face. Joe's smirk widened, clearly enjoying the power

Becca's POV Everything seemed to fade away as I stood there, my heart pounding so loudly I feared it might burst out of my chest. My hands shook, my throat went dry, and my legs felt like they might give out. No, we had to get out of here and find the nearest hospital. "The poison won't kill you," I said, my voice steady. "It's just going to make you forever weak. This is your punishment for all the sins you've committed."I turned to leave but stopped in my tracks. No matter how monstrous he was, he was still my father, and I couldn't bring myself to kill him. "Get out of here and never come back.
