CHAPTER HUNDRED AND TWENTY : MY SON

The exchange between Lucius and Baratheon was brief, almost too brief to even blink. It was almost like Lucius didn’t even move.

“What was that?”, Cersei asked Rey.

“He has won", Rey said. “I saw it all"

Lucius scanned the battlefield and all the eyes that watched him. In a swift second, he had quickly overpowered Baratheon and impaled his heart.

Breathing heavily, Lucius stood over Baratheon's fallen form. He had not wanted this outcome, but he knew that Baratheon's actions left him no choice.

“Something is wrong with Lucius", Asher said to Rey. “he seems…..”

Rey approached Lucius, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. "You did what you had to do to protect our realm and our pack," she said softly. "We understand."

Leina nodded in agreement. "Baratheon made his choice, and he had to face the consequences. We must focus on the task ahead."
