They lay there, holding each other for a long time. They stayed like that, just staring into each other's eyes.

"I love you, Hyperion", Seraphina said, a tear rolling down her cheek. "I love you"

"I love you too, Seraphina," Hyperion said, as he wiped away the tear.

"I don't want to have to loose you again", Seraphina said

"Don't worry, I am not going anywhere," Hyperion replied, kissing her on the cheek.

"It is time for you to leave the forest, you have to confront Jade because Rey and Lucius won't succeed without you. You have to stop Jade once and for all", Hyperion said.

"But what if we fail? What if I cannot defeat her? She has power and knowledge unlike anyone in the realm and her magic matches mine"

"You are the only one who can defeat her, no one else", Hyperion said. "You are stronger than her, I believe in you and so did Lucian and Elara. They lay down their lives believing in you"

"I know, but I cannot do this without you. Please don't leave me", Seraphina pleaded.

"We need to free the guards. That's our first step in confronting Jade.""How does this get us any close to finding Jade?", Rey asked. "If we have to confront her, she needs to be close by.""I can feel her magic. She's not far from the capital", Seraphina replied, closing her eyes and concentrating. "She will find us""We can't risk revealing our location, though", Lucius said. "Deucalion might be tracking us""Oh, they most definitely know where we are. They have always known our location", Seraphina said."I can't sense them anywhere close by", Rey added. "They must be hiding their presence to fool us."Seraphina nodded. "That's a smart move on their part. The fact that they have not attacked us until now shows that there is something else at play.""They want us to fight amongst ourselves and become

Rey turned back, a smile playing on her lips. "Not at all. Everything's fine."Lucius looked around, concern etched on his face. "I'm not sure what's wrong, but I know it is my duty to protect the pack and you, so if something is troubling you please tell me"Rey stopped walking, facing Lucius with an inquiring gaze. "We'll deal with whatever comes up as it comes. I'm worried, but I also trust that our pack will face this together.""Everything is happening so fast, most our friends are hurt or still under compulsion. I can't even begin to fathom how we'll save the realm or stop the war" , Lucius said."We have to keep moving forward" Rey said. "If we don't, we won't even have a chance at saving the pack."As they walked into the house, Luna walked up to them and smiled ever so subtly to conceal her worry."Welcome, the two of you need to see this", Luna said.Lucius and Rey quickly exchanged glances and then accompanied Luna to a room where they found a patch of skin with a tattoo of

Weeks had passed and things remained calm, too calm and it made the members of the Crimson Pack anxious. Seraphina had left to rendezvous with Hyperion and Cersei and some of the mages had left with them.Asher had gone on a tracking mission with Alpha Magnus to recover the supposed remains of Black Bourne and no one had heard from them in days but it was expected as the pack had agreed not to break silence by communicating with one another until they returned. So they had no way of knowing if Alpha Magnus and Asher had found their targets or not. What begun as a whiff of anxiety was slowly morphing into worry as time dragged on.Lucius was standing in front of the mirror, tugging at the collar of his shirt with a grimace."Are you okay?" Rey asked."Yes." He replied, turning around to face her. "But I'm nervous.""Why?""We are spread too thin, the fact that the Lycans aren't trying to make a move is even more terrifying. It means they know exactly how much they can get away with." H

Rey and Luna decided it was time to return to Silverwood, as their concerns about the situation with the dark mages and the Lycans grew stronger. They felt that Hyperion wasn't being fully transparent and that Seraphina's safety couldn't be entrusted to him.As they made their way out of the mansion and towards their horses, Luna raised a question about informing Lucius of their plans. Rey hesitated, considering the weight of his existing worries about the dark mages, the Lycans, and the missing Asher and Magnus."He has a lot on his plate right now," Rey replied, her hand on the reins of her horse as they reached the stables. "I'm sure he's concerned about the situation with the dark mages, the Lycans, and especially Asher and Magnus."Luna nodded in understanding, "You're right. He's got enough to handle at the moment. Let's focus on gathering more information and returning to Silverwood safely."With a determined nod, Rey mounted her horse, Luna doing the same. They shared a glance

Rey and Luna remained curious as to what Seraphina meant when she said that Hyperion had a mission and so they decided to confront her."What do you mean by Hyperion has a mission to finish?" Rey asked."There is something you have not told us yet, don't you think that at this point we should know all these things?" Luna asked."Well you should know these things", Seraphina sighed. "Hyperion and I used to be lovers, ages ago""Well that was an unexpected twist, how didn't we notice?"Seraphina shrugged."I guess I was one of those you wouldn't notice until it's pointed out to you." She said, "We were lovers, yes, but it fell to pieces after he joined the Lycans""Hyperion always seemed awfully different from the other Lycans. During our first encounter he could have killed us but he didn't. I always found it odd but it seems I wasn't the only one who noticed this about him", Luna said."What is all this about?", Rey asked. "Who is Hyperion and why was he your lover?, its all so loosel

They scanned around for any signs of black thorn and/or his wolves."Can you smell that?", Alpha Magnus asked Asher as they walked on."It may be faint but I can smell the remnants of adrenaline and struggle. There was definitely a battle that occur

Lycaon, his form oozing with the shadows that surrounded him, approached Deucalion with an air of sinister satisfaction. "Deucalion, your schemes are inconsequential. I've spent eons in the dark realms, and my powers have grown beyond your feeble comprehension."Deucalion, maintaining a facade of defiance, questioned, "What dark realms have you ventured into, and what did you see in the dark realm?""This world is but only a fraction of existence. "A hunch?'", Argon said. "You making fun of me?""No I really did follow my hunch because the force that awaited my company at the black sea was too small. They also didn't put up a proper resistance and it didn't help that their leader withdrew early from the battlefield. So I figured that the most plausible reason In such a case was that this location will become ground zero for a major conflict so I decided to mount the corpses of the dead and send them after Deucalion. By now Deucalion would have figured out that he got played and he would have realised that your forces are going to be decimated.", Lucius replied. "You are indeed full of surprises, I would never have imagined such an outcome to this battle. You both are truly impressive and have my commendation. ", Argon said."Well, I'm flattered but it is futile to thank me because you are already dead", Lucius said as he drew his sword."I won't go down easily", Argon said.
