"How could this have happened?", Rey said to Luna as they both slouched their shoulders in defeat.

"It doesn't make sense, nothing makes sense", Luna replied. Luna seemed unsure of what to say and how to reply, the events of the past few months had happened so fast and were devastating to the Crimson pack and the realm. It all begun with the mysterious disappearance of Alpha Magnus and Asher, and then what followed were a series of catastrophes.

"The Capital..., the Alpha king...", Rey said as tears streamed down her cheek.

"The Capital is lost..., it is all gone", Lucius said as he walked in on them. "The pack is all but defeated and we have no idea how many survivors are left"

Rey's heart ached as she stared at the remnants of their once-thriving pack, her eyes still moist from the tears she had shed. Luna wrapped an arm around her Rey in an effort to console her.

"But i guess it is worth the try""How do we do that?", Luna inquired. "I know of a way, but it is very dangerous", Lucius replied. "For Rey and for me"Upon uttering those words, Lucius drew his claws and bore them into Rey's skin. "Pain....", Lucius muttered as he bore deeper into her skin. Rey sighed as Luna helped her to her feet, She could feel her body healing rapidly.Rey's body continued to mend, the pain gradually fading into the background as she regained her strength. "Do you still feel Seraphina?" Luna asked Rey."I do""Why don't we just find Seraphina first?, That would be the best decision at this point", Lucius said. "We don't have time, Silverwood needs us", Rey said. "We need the forest alive, it is the source of Light magic""We must gather our supplies then," Lucius said. But it wasn't broken through, was it?", Lucius asked. "You allowed them in... why?"Rey turned to Seraphina in shock, she had never considered that possibility but as she thought of it, it slowly made more sense to her. "I had to make sure we have a fighting chance and so I had to put everything on the line""I don't get what the play is here...", Luna said."You will see.

"A hunch?'", Argon said. "You making fun of me?""No I really did follow my hunch because the force that awaited my company at the black sea was too small. They also didn't put up a proper resistance and it didn't help that their leader withdrew early from the battlefield. So I figured that the most plausible reason In such a case was that this location will become ground zero for a major conflict so I decided to mount the corpses of the dead and send them after Deucalion. By now Deucalion would have figured out that he got played and he would have realised that your forces are going to be decimated.", Lucius replied. "You are indeed full of surprises, I would never have imagined such an outcome to this battle. You both are truly impressive and have my commendation.
