Chapter 3

Asher mother was killed by hunters.They ran after her through the woods while  piercing her in the heart .His father Dean Parkers was the strongest Alpha in the town as he trained Asher to become like him ,as the leader of the pack he made Asher to take an oath  as he was never to forget his kind and protect them.When Asher Father passed away he became the next Alpha, as he was the strongest and smartest among the other werewolves.He and Laina felled deeply in love with one another as he vowed to protect her while he released her from being his prisoner.Laina was free to do anything she wanted except to leave the grounds of the Silver Dawn Town,He would even bring her favorite food and dessert from the Human world as he needed her to feel at home .But Laina wasn't quite happy as she wanted to see her brother and friends while she also missed working .She felt useless as she barely did anything .Meanwhile Denver had recovered and been thrown out of the town as he  had broken a law by attacking the Werewolf Alpha Lord..Denver grew of acrimony  as he planned  to take his revenge on Asher and Laina ,He despises the fact that his own people agreed with allowing a human to breathe in their home ,as they had been marked as predators in the human world ,they were kept as a  secret and couldn't live in the werewolf form in the human city .He planned to strike harder as he established his own pack.Asher worried as he feared Denver would go bitter and lead himself into doing something completely outrageous as what he thought will come true .

Meanwhile Bruce had finished his studies at the University and has obtained his bachelor degree in Communication as he wanted to be a journalist while kayla obtained a degree in Science .Bruce invited Laina to his party as he needed her to be present. Asher on the other hand didn't wanted Laina being far from him as he feared many things could go wrong .She pleaded that she needed to go,She was proud of her brother and felt honored .Asher deeply loved Laina and never wanted to disappoint her.He agreed that she could leave but was going to be by her side . "But what about your people ,who will protect them" she questioned. Asher had five hundred werewolves soldiers to guide the town as he trusted their ability .They both arrived at Bruce party when Laina blissfully hugged her brother ,She was very proud as she weep with tears of joy  while Bruce immensely hugged and  kissed her forehead while  he squeezed her contently.Asher felt graceful as he loved when Liana smiled and was happy. Bruce never really accpeted Asher as a brother, because he had separated his sister away from him, but he understood that his sister loved Asher and had to respect that.He merrily welcomed Asher as he shaked his hands .Instantly,Kristin and Luke approaches Laina as they joyfully hugged."Why did you leave without  telling us? Even a phone call would have been appreciated " said Luke modestly  .Laina bashfullly bowed her head to the floor , as she didn't know what to tell her friends ,They knew her phsysical sensations while they could tell  if she was lying as they knew everything about her .Asher immediately grabbed Laina by the waist as he pulled her to his chest ,"She and I are in a relationship and I decided to take her to meet my parents in Alabama,It all happened so quickly as I imposed on her to decide quickly "he said with a pleasing smile.Laina stared into his eyes as she felt a great weight has been lifted over her shoulders.Asher covered the lies for her and she was apprciated that .Kristin quickly shouted with overjoy "Wow,I am so happy that you are finally dating"she pulled Laina as they hugged immensely whileLuke  wasn't quite happpy because he had feelings for  Laina and he was afraid to comfront her as he didn't wanted to loose the friendship but he felt there was more to the story than what Asher had stated.He didn't say a word as he and Asher stared  intensively .Kristin led Laina to her bedroom  as she needed more details . As Laina explained a fake story of how she and Asher met ,Kristin slowly stared at the sketching Asher as he was in half werewolf from.It laid on her dresser .Laina had totally forgot about the drawing and continue talking.Kristin suddenly realized that the guy in the picture was actually Asher when she quickly gasped. Liana noticed that she had saw the sketching and  had to confront the truth .She slowly explained every detail  to Kristin .When the  expanating camed to an end  ,Kristin embraced Liana as a sign of comfort .Her friend was in danger and could have died and they weren't there to protect her ."You can't tell Luke now as I don't think he will handle the situation as you are ,please ,don't tell him here " Laina timidly said. Kristin nodded as she agrees to her friend request.

Meanwhile Denver had been spying on everyone as he commence his plan.At Silver Dawn Town,Denver arrived with fifty men while intending to collect more to join his army.He revealed that Asher was not a true leader as he was in love with a human and that Asher had once revealed his form to Liana resulting to a huge chaos.Everyone were as astonished to hear this news but hardly believed because they knew that they kicked him out of their town which might have made him crazy.Fortunately ,all of the information that Denver stated were true as he show a photo prooving evidence of Asher and Liana in the Human world being at the party.Suddenly,there were mumblings as everyone questions in doubt."Listen my people,Asher has grown weak,he had chosen to love a human as they are not to be  trusted,he made an oath to protect the pack but he has engraved danger upon us,He revealed himself putting us at risk and kept it a secret ,He is in the human world at a party while he should be here " .As Denver spoke with rage and jealously,Some werewolves didn't trust him because they knew  Asher was the true Alpha ,he protected them for so many years .As Denver stood  ,Werewolves fury with  rage as they  striked on his men and battle against one another .It was a  blood bath between werewolves that night .Some were  injured and some died .Denver collected two hundred werewolves soldiers as he left saying "We will be back ,better and stronger". The Town was destroyed ,most of the werewolves were injured as they laid on the floor while few were killed .Denver army were added  from the Silver Dawn Pack as they fought on the battlefield ,leaving fifty injured and seventy dead .After arriving shortly to his town,Asher felt anguished as he had failed his people ,he help carried the injured werewolves to medical grounds while he went to the mountains as he viewed his broken town.Laina also felt remorse as if she weren't to have gone to her brother ,this wouldn't have happened .She needed to comfort and embrace Asher but he wanted to be alone as he suffered pain in silence .When Asher heard about the news that Denver had stated ,he fury with anger as he planned to kill  Denver as he would finish him  this time.He needed Liana to stay away as he knew she was his herb,she would calm his rage instantly with the purfying touch of her eyes .He needed to be strong and powerful to be ready for his next battle.That night Asher confronted Liana about her returning  to the human world and staying there  until everything was settled but Liana knew he needed her especially at this point of time .Asher also  needed her but he had to make that decision for his pack and his people.She tearfully cried as they both embraced while Asher held her tightly in his arms .Liana softly pulled him  closer towards her.While staring at each other with passion in their eyes ,He quickly threw her on the floor ,tearing her dress and kissing every inch of her body as  they made love.

It's  been four weeks since  Liana has left Silver Dawn Town. Much has changed while she had been gone  ,her brother worked as a journlaist while kayla and him both lived together.Kayla left her town before all the chaos could have  happened.She loved the human world and wanted to stay there mainly because of Bruce.Liana on the other hand wasn't working as she has been fired from  both of her previous jobs as a result of  absence.She spends her day at the Orphanage helping wih little work as she could find .She also would spend time at Bloomingdales with kristin.Kristin and Luke was up to date about everything that had happened ,Luke was overwhelmed that kristin was far from Asher as he would finally comfront her about his feelings .Days passed as Asher strengthen his army and himself ,Out of five hundred soldiers ,there were only one hundred and eighty left as he had lost two hundred soldiers to Denver and among the fifty that were injured he only took ten as the rest didn't fully recovered .His thought would go on Liana as he misses and deeply worry for her well being.She was out of his sight ,leaving her completely vulnerable to his enemies .Meanwhile at the Orphange ,Liana recieved an unexpected visit by an anoymonous person .She didn't know anyone except her friends and brother .ISuddenly a man entered ,He was quite older,He had a classic hair cut ,his hair had a few gray strands  out of his light  brown hair , he had few wrinkles on his forehead and roman nose with angular cheekbones ,He wore a casual Burgundy suit as his hands were accessorized with a gold plated watch and a silver marriage ring placed on his finger.He smelled of luxury as he slowly approaches Liana .This man had elegance .Liana couldn't  help but stared at the remarkable resemblance that this man shared with her brother.They both walked the same and had similar features. Suddenly, he spoke with a pleasant smile "You must be Liana Ricci ,Wow you have grown to such a beautiful lady ".Liana was confused as this stranger knew her name and had resemblance to her brother. "Who are you " she question. "I am  Leonard  Ricci ,your father ".Liana drew in one breath as she completely dazed out.Her parents died in a car crash ,how was it possible that he is claiming to be her father although he did resembled her brother ."What ! how! " Liana exclaimed .He simply said it was a long story and that he needed her  to follow him at his residence .As confused and dazed as Liana was ,she didn't trust this man and stubbornly refused to follow him.He expected her to have refused his request as she was stubborn as her mother .He simply handed his card to phone him when she was ready to know the answers of her background.Liana accepted the card as he left saying "I'm sorry that you didn't meet me sooner ".Two days has passed and Liana kept overthinking about her encountance with this men and grew anxious to know her past .She never revealed about her encountance with Leonard to her Brother as it would distract him from his work .She chose to meet him at his residence as she has had a phone call earlier with him.A Limousine arrived shortly to pick her up,She went alone as she kept this to herself.It was a two hour distance to where she resided .Liana arrived at a town called Silican Valley as it was owned by Leonard.She saw photos of him everywhere as it on billboards, posters even on television.She simply asked the driver about Leonard. He told her that he was the capo of the town which means he was the Boss of the Town.Leonard Vicci was a mafia boss ,he owned the town and controlled everything,He had a whole army of mafias as they were multiply to thousands.Leonard was a famous in his town.His mafia gang  were called sfidanti which means challengers .As Liana arrived at the residence of Leonard ,she couldn't believed her eyes.There were gardens full with her favorites flowers like lilies and tuberoses ,different cars of every color were neatly packed and shiny as you could view yourself in a mirror,there were so many employees that guarded the yard.There was even a statue built in his image .A butler pleasantly welcomed her as he opened the  giant door of Leoanard house .It was as big as the white house ,many furnitures were neatly assembled as she saw Leonard.He was casually standing  as he dressed old fashioned .He wore a sleeve garters over his white linen shirt as he had a glass of whiskey in his hand."Welcome ,please have a seat with me in the garden" he said with excitment.Liana quietly followed him  as she  sat in a chair and was offered a glass of red wine. There were many assorted pastries and a cheese platter board placed on the table.Leonard carefully explained that his father Gabriele Vicci was a rich and famous mafia boss .He was an Italian who needed  a safe place  for his family as he built Silicon valley for his people .As long as you are in Silicon valley you were safe ,as they had weapons and highly trained men in the mafia gang.He had and made a lot of enemies ,as a werewolf also been one of his targeted enemies.Werewolves were hunted by mafias because they believed that they were monsters and predators.After the passing of his father  ,Leonard took after his father duties as he became the new Mafia Boss .Leonard met Liana mother as they have met in America.Her name was Diana.She was an American with a soft and pure heart.She valued peace more than anything,she never liked the chaos that the mafia life brought but she loved Leonard and excepted to live that life with him.Leonard made a promise that he will keep her children safe incase any problems subsided  even if they would have to live a  normal life .She died in a car crash caused by a werewolf.Leonard wasn't apart of the accident as he was in a meeting in Italy .He was deeply hurt by his wife death and decided to fulfilled his promise to her .He kept Liana and Bruce at the Sister of Quiet Mercy Orphanage for their saftey ,as it was the only place he knew that they would be away from harm  .He  strictly orders that his children will not be adopted by anyone as they will grow out in a normal life .He needed them by his side but was afraid to loose them, as they were his only hope in his life.While he explained ,he showed her a picture of them as a family ,Liana couldn't remember anything as she was quite little when it all happened .He talked as tears consumed his eyes .Liana examined the picture as she slowly stared at  her Mother beauty ,they both looked identical ,the only difference were the colors of her eyes as she had the color of Bruce eyes that which was brown .She had luscious curls and an amazing figure .Liana stared at her father blue eyes as she felt a little melancholy .She hated him for not allowing the sisters to reveal the truth ,she also suffered alot with Bruce as she felt like alone all of her life .There were so many things he had missed in her childhood .She wanted to scream and slapped the shit out of him but she had to allow it sink in, as he fulfilled a promise to her late mother .She slowly stood up as she approaches her father and they softly embraced .Feeling over joyed he squeezed her contently as he slowly kisses her cheek.Liana was deeply hurt that she had been living a lie this whole time but deep down she felt relieved to have felt her father touch .
