Well, Polly was grateful the place wasn’t crowded. She hoped not many people saw, as she already caught a few who were staring at them.

“Try this one. It’s squid.” He offered and she grudgingly accepted. He chuckled as her expression changed.

“Good, huh? I think I like this one best.”

“Give me.” She tried reaching for it, but it was a bit far. He grabbed it for her. She decisively placed half of the dish on her plate and he took the rest.

“Forget about the restaurant this morning. These dishes are better.”

“I knew you’ll say that.”

“You knew?” She acted surprised.

“I have to save the best for last, no? That’s how I could surprise you.”

“Order some more for mom and dad. And I want another of this.”
