MARINA

I picked up the camera then instantly regretted it. I shouldn't have touched it. What if I contaminated the evidence? Wait, calling it evidence would suggest that Logan was...

No, no, it can't be. Logan was fine. Nothing bad happened to him, I said to myself, then started to look around.

"Whose camera is this? It looks expensive. And is this blood on it?" Steven said and poked his head over my shoulder to take a look.

"It's my friend's camera," I said flatly and stared at it.

"Oh shit! Is he hurt?" Steven gasped.

No, I don't believe this, I thought in my head instead of answering Steven. I needed to find Logan, and I needed to find him soon. Even if he wasn't dead, he could be hurt somewhere.

"Come with me," I said and motioned Steven to follow me. I felt bad for getting him involved in my mess, but I didn't feel like being alone right now.

We walked through the backyard. It was huge and led to the woods. A million quest

DAWN"Just calm down, would you?" Logan said as he was staring at me with a mocking glance.I stared back at him with fiery eyes as he accused me of murders."Don't tell me to calm down after accusing me of doing horrible things. How dare you tell me that I killed those boys? What possible reason would I have to kill them? Huh, tell me."How should I know? Logan said. The way you're acting, you sound kind of crazy," he said."Fuck you, Logan. You have no right to accuse me. You are the one who had been creeping around stalking girls, especially Marina. Does she know you follow her around like a little puppy and take pictures of her in secret?" I screamed."You can't prove that. But I can prove that you've been stalking those guys. I can take these pictures to the FBI, and you will be the number one suspect and not Marina. All I have to do is show these pictures to them, so they know you were with Eddie last," Logan said.I smiled beca

MARINA "This way." Miles motioned me to follow him, so I did. We kept going in and into the woods. I didn't know where he was heading. "Where are we going?" I asked. "Did you not notice the drops of blood on the ground?" he said. I looked at him with surprise. "What blood?" I asked. "Not very observant, are you?" Miles smirked. "Look over there," he said and pointed toward the ground. I looked and saw what he was talking about. I couldn't believe I didn't notice before, but tiny splatters of blood were on the leaves and along the path, leaving a trail. "I had no idea. How did you see that?" I was amazed. "Well...unlike you, when we got to this spot, I looked at the ground closely, and I saw the blood," Miles said dryly. "Wha...what does it mean?" I asked. My heart was pounding. "It means someone hurt someone and carried them somewhere else. They must've been bleeding, which is why there's

MARINAI called myself another Uber and headed home. My head was spinning from everything that happened. Maybe I should just go to sleep, and everything will be OK in the morning. But it was just wishful thinking. Someone grabbed my arm and pulled me inside as soon as I stepped in front of my room."Logan, what the hell are you doing here?" I asked after I took a good look at who it was. I suddenly felt fear when I remembered what had happened to Dawn. Did Logan really hit her on the head? Did he kill those guys?"I just wanted to see you," Logan said. He had me pushed against the wall. He tried to kiss me, but I pushed him off."Let go of me," I said. Logan must have seen the fear in my eyes because he let go of me immediately and looked at me with surprise."What's the matter?" He asked. His voice was full of concern."I know what you did to Dawn," I said and immediately regretted it. Way to let the killer know that you know he kill

M.D.I slowly walked behind him. I watched Marina leave. Then I waited in the bedroom until it was time.He couldn't hear me coming out of the bedroom because I was as quiet as a mouse. Over the years, I've practiced walking silently, and it came in handy time and time.I watched him take a bottle of water out of the fridge and take a swig. I didn't do anything to him and waited until he finished drinking his water. I was not heartless. I wouldn't let him die thirsty."Hey," I said.He turned around and looked at me. He had a surprised look on his face. "What are you doing here at this hour?" He asked."I can't sleep," I said."I can imagine you not being able to sleep after the stunt you pulled today. What were you thinking?" He sounded angry."I didn't come here to hear you lecture me," I smirked."Is there something you want to tell me then? Maybe apologize a little," he said. He had a smug look on his face, which alw

I just hope that Marina does not believe her over me.But when I looked into Marina's eyes, I saw doubt. It looked like she wanted to believe me, but she wasn't sure. I couldn't blame her.All the evidence was pointing at me. So how do I convince her that I didn't kill anyone or hit Dawn on the head? I would never do something so stupid and hurt someone like that.I needed to confront Dawn and ask her myself. But how would I do it when police were after me already? When I saw them at my front door, I ran out of the neighborhood and went to my friend Elmer's House. Elmer didn't ask me a lot of questions and let me stay with him for the night but told me that I needed to figure things out in the morning. DAWNI was screaming hysterically when I realized someone was shaking me. I tried to squint my eyes so I could see through my tears, but everything was blurry.“Dawn! DAWN! Stop yelling. Get a hold of yourself!” someone was saying.Oh, that’s right. It was Logan. He was here, and he killed Miles.“Get away from me!” I cried.“Dawn, I didn’t kill him. You know I couldn’t have,” Logan said. He had a look of despair on his face.“You didn’t kill him, my ass! Who else would it be?” I said with gritted teeth. I fumbled inside my jeans pocket and looked for my phone. I need to call the police before he kills me too.“Dawn, you lied to Marina and the police. You told them I hit you with my camera. Why did you do that?” he asked. “Did you kill him? Did you kill your own brother just so you could frame me? Why? Why do you hate me so much?&rd

MARINAA strong smell woke me up. A strong, metallic smell. I sat up on my bed and looked around as I was confused. It was dark in my room, so I couldn’t see anything at first, but I felt uneasy and…icky. Almost as if I was dirty.I touched my face then my neck and felt something sticky on me. I frowned and got out of the bed immediately, then turned on the light. The smell was familiar. The sticky feeling was familiar.I looked down at my arms and body and gasped. I was covered in blood again. What happened this time?It doesn’t matter. Whatever happened, I had nothing to do with it. I was sure of it. I needed to go take a shower and then figure everything out later. So I hopped in the shower and started to scrub all the blood off. I didn’t finish until every inch of my body was squeaky clean then came out. I looked at the time. It was only 9:30 pm.I tried to remember when I went to sleep but couldn&r

DAWNMiles walked in with a stupid grin on his face. I looked at special agent Danna, who narrowed her eyes to a slit. Logan was back in the living room, followed by Danna's partner. His eyes turned wide when he saw Miles."Is someone going to tell me what's going on? Why is everyone looking like they had just seen a ghost?" Miles asked with his voice full of amazement."Miles, you're alive," I exclaimed"Yes, I'm alive, last time I checked. Was I supposed to be dead?" He asked."We, I mean Logan, found your dead body in the shed. You were missing your head," I said even though I knew I sounded stupid as we all know that it wasn't miles in the shed."Well, now you know I'm alive, and my head is intact," Miles joked, then turned serious immediately. "Wait, what body?" he asked."Ahem," Special Agent Donna cleared her throat to get our attention. "Alright, so it looks like we've made a mistake. You're clearly not dead, so that body belo

LOGAN I squinted as the sunlight assaulted my eyes. "Ugh! It's too bright," I groaned. "You are the only person who complains on a sunny day like this," Marina said and laughed. "Whatever, let's just go inside," I suggested. It has been four months since the whole ordeal went down. Things had calmed down since Dawn or Maya was charged with all those murders. This town was peaceful again. Marina and I decided to move in together after I was released from the hospital. Well…she was the one who suggested it. She visited me every day until I was healed and took good care of me, so I couldn't say know. Besides, I was in love with her so I couldn't say no. Things were going great, but one thing always bugged me. Dawn had confessed to the police about all the people she killed, including those in her old hometown, but every time they questioned her about Marina's mother, and why she killed her, she denied it. She told them she

MARINAI stood there and didn’t know how to respond. Jason was brutally murdered for no reason, and it was because of me.“What is wrong with you!” I screamed.“Oh, sweetie. You don’t know the half of it,” she said mockingly. She stepped forward to get closer to me. “They all had to die, and now is your turn. I even killed the one person who cared about me, so I won’t let you leave here alive.”“Who?” I asked. I was curious even at a time like this. How many people had she killed so far?Dawn’s eyes turned dark. “Aaron. He was in love with me. He knew about all the things I did, but he never judged me, but this time he wanted to turn me in. I couldn’t let him, so I had to let him go. I still regret it.”She is too far gone, I realized. Here I thought my mother was the craziest woman I had ever made, but I was standing in front of a total psycho. At leas

MARINAI released a deep sigh as the warm water soothed my skin. I was sore all over as Logan fucked me to his heart's content.I nearly fell over as I felt a pair of arms around me from behind."Shh... it's just me," Logan whispered against my neck."Logan! I'm not done with the shower yet," I whimpered as he put his hand between my legs."That's okay. I need one too," Logan chuckled and cupped my breasts. I could feel his erection rubbing against my back.I moaned as he rubbed my clit with his fingers, stroking me slowly and carefully. I was growing wet down there, and I know it wasn't from the shower."Logan...ahh...that feels good," I said between moaning."You are so beautiful," he growled and rubbed me faster. My body shook as little as I felt tingly spasms all over my body."Put your hands on the wall," he ordered.I blushed and did as he asked. I could feel his hands all over me. They were warm, alm

DAWNI decided it was time to do something about Logan Hill. I thought they would suspect him since he was a creepy-ass bastard, so I was excited when they took him in. But it was all wrong because all the evidence wasn't pointed at him. The only reason they took him in was that he was found near Aaron's dead body while trespassing.I knew it wasn't enough evidence to lock him up, but that's okay because there was a second suspect.Marina.She was seen with all the victims right before they died, and she discovered two of the dead bodies. Those bodies were even marked with her lipstick. So it was a no-brainer that she was the one who killed all of them. I hope it was enough for the FBI to investigate her. I knew they had already questioned her several times. I wish they would do something sooner as I was still upset about Aaron.I loved Aaron. He was more than just a maid's son to me. And I knew he loved me back. He always tried to take care of me.

MARINASo, this is what it’s like to have your own space and freedom? I thought as I walked around the empty house. With my mother being gone, it was just me now. It was peaceful. It was the weekend, and I didn’t have any classes, so I slept in as much as I wanted. Normally, I would be up early in the morning to make her breakfast, then clean and dust the entire house until it was spotless. No more. When I woke up, the first thing I did was pack some of her things into a box. Then I made some calls to her sister to make arrangements for the funeral. I’m assuming it wouldn’t be an open casket with all those wounds on her body.I was hungry during the midafternoon, so I started to cook some spaghetti while humming my favorite Disney tune. I was in heaven. The phone started ringing. I took one look and frowned when I saw agent Danna’s number. Dammit…I was having such a nice day!“Can I he
