Chapter 6

On the top of the mountain...

"How were the new shifters?" Alpha Marcus asked Beta Miguel.

"They're fine, Alpha." Beta Miguel answered. "Nothing to worry about."

"Good." Alpha Marcus said. He mind-linked the Gamma and instructed it to watch the new shifters for a while.

"Let's go, Beta."

'Where are we going?"

"Just follow my lead." Alpha Marcus said.

The two werewolves went to the other side of the mountain. They passed through the shady forest. Then, after five minutes, a pleasing scenery showed right in front of them.

A lovely lagoon. The water on it was crystal-cleared. There were plentiful fireflies flying around. As the wind blows, the scent of honeysuckles filled the air. These plants were grown around the lagoon. The light coming from the full moon was giving the whole place pleasant scenery. It was mesmerizing.

"This place was??"

"The sacred lagoon."

"Wow...I can't believe it," Beta Miguel said. "I thought it was just an old-time story."
