Chapter 4

Emerald decided to go home after an hour. Instead of using ivictus (power to go to other places), she walked on the road slowly. Her mind was still full of thoughts about the Oracle's vision.

After a minute of walking, Emerald crossed to the other side of the road. There was a mini park on it. She sits for a while on the wooden bench under an oak tree. She finds the place beautiful. Then, after an hour she continued to walk again.

When Emerald was in the middle of the park, she noticed that someone was following her. She act naturally as if she didn't notice it but was alerted. She sensed that it was a group of rogues. She continued walking, then one of the rogues start to attack her.

Emerald flips her finger to summon her elemental energy (in water form) to fight against the attacking rogue.

"Who summons you?" Emerald asked the attacking rogue. But it didn't answer.

"What do you want?" Still, no answer coming from the rogue.

The other rogue started to attack also. Emerald continued to fight against them. Until only one left.

"Tell me, who summons you?"

"No one."

"Who summons you?" Emerald asked again.

"I already told you that no one does." The rogue said.

"Hey, I'll tell you who he is if you spare me." The other rogue said while gasping for some air due to the elemental energy wrapped around its body.

"Sure. I'll spare you." Emerald said. "Deal?"

"Yes. Yes." The rogue excitedly said.

Emerald started to loosen the elemental energy that wrapped around the rogue body. But the moment it was loosened the rogue immediately attack Emerald. It was a trick. Emerald got injured. Her left arm got wounded.

"Ha-ha-ha." The rogue laughed. "You are a fool." Emerald was about to attack when suddenly the rogue head fall to the ground.

"Who the hell..." The other rogue said. 

A huge black werewolf came in front of them. Its obsidian eyes are full of anger, while its aura imposed authority. Its canine dig down the body of the rogue angrily. While its comrades attacked the other left rogue.

Emerald who was leaning on the tree just watched the entire fight. Her wounded left arm was now healed.

"Mate..." Morris said.

"Mate...mate is here." Amara excitedly said. "And he is walking towards us."

The black werewolf slowly walks toward Emerald. "Mate..." But, then Emerald suddenly vanished.
