Three weeks have passed, holidays were over and it was time for me to go back to Cape Town. I am starting my last year of high school and am excited even though the workload is going to be a lot. Fortunately, Kwezi and I have tutors and they are going to start working with us from next week when the schools open. Three months has passed since the prince of the land lost his mind, he hasn’t gotten any batter and it worries me because I have no other male child, to take over from me when the time comes for me to join my ancestors. Three months have passed since I have been kept in the palace of BaTloung, life has not been as bad as I thought it would be, they gave me a room in the maiden’s quarters and it is a very spacious room. I have everything I need that includes a kitchen with a fridge full of food and groceries to cook for myself. My house is bigger than this but this one is modern and stylish with laminated floors.I am allowed to move around the palace with a guard following me around but am not allowed to leave. Maidens go about their work but don’t say a word to me, that makes me lonely because I have no one to talk to. I miss my mother and Lehasa. I hope they are looking for me.
