Sophia had never been shoved that badly in her life; Sloana’s feet hit her out of nowhere, hitting her midriff then her face. The one across her face was the most painful, as her teeth were nearly crushed.
The dirty foot bathwater splashing all over her body, yet she could not complain. She could only blame Alan in her mind. He was going to be sorry, sending her here without her express permission would cost him a lot than he realized.
A hard shove at her breast registered next, Sloana rubbed her feet against her body sensually.
“No wonder he likes you so much. You are full of meat, enough for him to chew on right?” The shove came again, hitting her square in the chest this time. Sophia whimpered painfully.
“Answer me?” Sloana screamed.
“No Ma. I am only his maid”
“An Alpha is kissing his own maid. I don’t think so. You are not. Have you ever seen a werewolf sleep with a human whore before?”
“No” Sophia replied hastingly
It was with a grand entrance that Alan's car was ushered into the Anda's compound. The musical reception was melodious; a large crowd had followed his car from the road. They all trooped in to watch his car enter the mansion. However, they were not allowed to come in, so they stayed at the gate, watching the extravagant wedding taking place at the Anda's luxurious flower garden. Other werewolf pack heads were also present. Uncle Jocka must have sent for them to ensure Alan behaved. He laughed inwardly. He was ready to face them all."I hope you like the nice present I sent to you," he said to Mrs. Anda as she came to welcome him with brimming smiles.Alan grinned as she tried hard to suppress her anger under her well-made-up face. Her lips wore the largest smile as she replied just as maliciously, "It was no bother. As you can see, we put her to good use." She pointed her gold-ridden hand towards where Sloana was seated on a well-decorated cushioned chair, dressed as a
The problem they were going to have was the size of the two girls. Sloana was slim, while Sophia was curvy, and heavily so. Their difference would be noticed right away, but it would be too late. They would already be in the mating room for anyone to interfere.Alan sat with Sloana throughout the numerous planned activities. He fed her cake, fed her wine, and even pecked her on the cheeks. He was made to seat her atop his legs, and he complied. He offered no resistance, as he didn't want to raise suspicion. Mr. Anda sat with Uncle Maska, while her mother remained by Sloana's side, cleaning her non-existent sweat. Such pretentious fellows. They hated humans but would engage in every activity humans did during their joining ceremony. Perfect, just perfect. He owed them this rude awakening.Uncle Maska's loud voice dragged him out of his thoughts. "I think it is time to make her our Luna. Truly and truly, and as a dear wish of mine to have the two of them mate this very d
"You bastard!" The terrible screaming was what woke Sophia up. She was still perfectly curled up in the arms of Alan Zang, whose eyes were open and staring down at her face. His fingers traced her skin lightly, sending tremors all over her. She smiled shyly; he had loved her so thoroughly. Being an Alpha werewolf surely assured him more strength than the average male."Bastard!" A loud shrieking sound echoed from the direction of the bathroom. That was Sloana. Sophia panicked and held onto the sheets that covered their bodies."Do you still trust me?" he suddenly asked, touching her shoulder. Sophia tried to move, but he stopped her and raised himself on one elbow, covering her with his body."Do you still love and trust me, Sophia?" Alan asked again. Sophia's eyes scanned the room. Judging by the room's design, this was Anda's mansion and not Alan's room."Sophia," Alan called again, holding her face to meet his. Her eyes searched his face, trying to rea
“I think my uncle is too quiet,” Alan said worriedly, He had just left Sophia sleeping in his bedroom. He walked over to where Eddie and Julian lay side by side on the sofas. Their body were all healed up, one would not even know they were ever battered.“And why do you think that is?” Eddie replied, his voice bored, he kept on flipping the television channels, annoyed at nothing in particular.”Eddie, don’t make me guess. My head is full right now. I need to go to the office later today and I am still not prepared for the amount of hostility that I am going to face” He sat down on a chair opposite them. He was neatly dressed in work clothes and was looking immaculate. One could detect his reluctance to leave his house. His eyes drifted in the direction of the bedroom.“You haven’t stepped out of this house in a week. I get that you are in a honeymoon phase with Sophia but you need to think of reality” Eddie warned pointing the remote at him.“I am. I am going to work now.” Alan defen
The jealous looks were beginning to haunt Sophia. She was feeling edgy as she sat with Julian and Eddie at the lunch table. But this war was psychological and she would not fail it.Biting into her food one after the other, she had little or no appetite. But her stomach would not agree with her, it was as though it wanted to consume more food than was usual. She kept on stuffing her faceEddie smiled at her encouraging her, he pushed his plate to her.“Eat up, you need it after all that….” He trailed off. Sophia blushed to the roof of her toes. Julian’s phone began ringing. He picked it up immediately. Sophia tucked her hair behind her ears, she wanted to listen better.“Alan...” He said but stopped. His eyes grew wider by the second. “When did this happen?” he listened some more before ending the call. He looked alarmed “We need to go” Julian said to Eddie.“What is it?” Sophia asked worried “What is wrong with Alan?” Her voice was apprehensive. “They burnt down the plantations to
Sophia held her breath as tightly as she could. The air in the car was stifling despite the air conditioning blowing in the car. The smoke smell was choking. Yet she could not complain. She didn’t want to be strangled.Sloana was busy smoking by the side, she didn’t say a word, which was adding to Sophia’s discomfort. The car gently rolled down the familiar streets of the Zang’s Packhouse. Sophia panicked, surely Sloana was not thinking of entering Alan’s house. Sophia panicked, she searched for her phone in her bag,“Don’t even think of it” Sloana hissed. Dropping the cigarette on Sophia’s body. Sophia shrieked as the ash spilt on her dress. She quickly dropped the offending cigarette in the car bin basket.Sophia looked at her, “You can’t do this.”“I am entering that house, Sophia and my dear had better be smart about it” Sloana said
This was not a natural occurrence, there had been no traces of the rebel wolves who did the atrocity. All traces of them were gone. Their scent could not be traced as well. The plantations were completely charred. He would have to start looking for another means of income for the Pack before their treasury depleted. He would have to speak to Uncle Maska and Uncle Jocka who handled such things. He had been so emotionally wrecked, he just needed a good night's sleep in Sophia’s arms. At least with her, he could always find comfort. It had been agreed that Eddie and Julian get their apartment outside of the Zang Pack Compound. Though the three of them were still tight, a little distance was needed in order not to make Sophia uncomfortable. The buzzing sound of his phone caught his attention as he drove down the lane to his home. He could see the banners were still up and the decorations intact. Alan bent his head and looked out, it seems as th
Lying in bed, staring morosely at the ceiling, Sophia tried not to panic. She had gone to sleep the night before feeling extremely scared and not willing to think too much. Perhaps she had been too reckless; she should have been more careful with her relationship with Alan. They were moving fast, and she couldn't shake off the foreboding feeling of an impending crash. She held her pillow tighter, desperately wanting to will away all of her troubles.A knock sounded on the door. Sophia stood up slowly, reminding herself to stay positive and not burden herself unnecessarily. She was only two days late. There was no need to panic. Besides, she had Alan. He was there for her, and if she was indeed pregnant, he would stand by her."Sophia, would you like some breakfast?" Alan called softly.Sophia swiftly got out of bed and went to take her bath. She dressed hurriedly in a simple blue gown and joined him at the breakfast table. He was wearing a loose shirt and shorts, not looking like he w
After storming out of the house, Alan had no destination in mind, but Eddie ordered him to a restaurant as feeding his stomach was his main navigator. The wolves they met at the restaurant all greeted Alan warmly, with some even getting bold enough to ask about Sophia and when Alan was bringing her back. Alan replied to them all good-naturedly, though he did not give out Sophia’s condition to anyone. Eddie, however, hurried to a table, ignoring all the leering stares that were directed at him. Alan sat next to him unable to eat, he thanked their teen waitress and gave her a generous tip. The girl smiled happily as she left them.
News of the war had flittered to Julian's pack, and they were not good news. Jordan had arrived earlier and was in a close meeting with Maska Zang. She was not a werewolf and could not hear them and those darn werewolves were good at not being heard if they didn't want it.Using a hand to support her stomach, Sophia left her room and began walking the expanse of the courtyard. She knew Fega had her in her line of sight but the wolf was not seen. She had been focused on something latel
Just to be sure she was not faking it, Alan got close to Sloana and saw she was still breathing, her form changed gradually back to her human form, and in a pool of her blood.Seeing as she was fast fading off, Alan left her there and sat beside her. That was where Jordan found them. Jordan was in his human form and he had a set of clean clothes in his hands for Alan to change into. Alan hesitated to do that until he was sure Sloana was no longer breathing.
Alan wanted the party to be the best, so he lifted the forced lockdown Maska Zang had imposed on the city. Both humans and werewolves were free to roam around. The festive mood further cheered the residents up, including humans. Alan made sure to employ many of them in planning the festival, which had a lot to do with dancing and eating. The Luna Moon Festival celebration took place at night when the moon was out; it was a special night dedicated to the Luna of the pack. This was to recognize her authority and ensure the continual submission to her authority by the pack. The pack wolves were surprised that Alan allowed the festival to take place. Many suspected it was due to the recent murder charge against him, and they were not quiet with their observations, though they were sensible enough not to confront him with it.Alan solved the murder by obtaining the CCTV footage, or whatever was left of it. that Sloana wasnt smart enough to tamper with. Through that, he was able to prove th
Sloana’s POVThings were going wrong. She had thought she had won Alan by at least two shots. But how had things gone so wrong? Hiding in one of her secret cabins in the woods, she refused to back down. Her parents were also with her in the room as she paced the length of the room. She would not back down like this. All her life was in Zang City: her prestige, her honour, her title as the Luna of the pack. She was not giving that up ever.

There appeared to be a bustle of activities going on outside her door, but no one had informed her about it. When she asked Fega, she was told to stay out of it as it was none of her business. Now, she couldn't help but feel apprehensive. She had heard Eddie's voice not too long ago, but he did not attempt to come in and talk to her.The door opened to admit Fega, who seemed to be busy doing nothing. Sophia watched her in silence. Fega had never touched the flowers in the room, let alone ar
Maska Zang was furious, seething with anger. Alan had relocated him from the Zang Pack House to their temporary packhouse towards the outskirts of Zang City because they no longer knew who was colluding with Sloana. Maska Zang had searched for the Andas, but they had all vanished, leaving Alan to wonder how their escape had gone unnoticed. Sloana was meticulous, Alan had to give her that. She and Rod were currently untraceable. Maska Zang had deployed the entire guard force to search high and low for both of them. But Alan knew she would surface; he was certain of it. That's why the Luna Moon Festival had to proceed. Sloana was not one to stay away from what she thinks is rightfully hers. He needed to apprehend her personally, and he knew she wouldn't wait for fate to bring her to him; she'd come out on her own. The city had been placed under lockdown on Maska Zang's orders, much to Alan's relief. He didn't want her to hold any area hostage. Despite the ongoing media buzz about him
