Chapter 47: The Land of Her Freedom

A week after the banquet...

"Finally! Land of the free!" she dragged her luggage as she rummaged the surroundings with her light brown orbs.

Couples holding hands while strolling in the park. Street vendors in some areas. Neon lights that sparkling brightly on the big billboards in the pedestrians. Names of closed stores and other establishments. It still looked daytime but when she glanced at her diamond watch, it was nine in the evening.

She continued walking, her backpack hanging on her shoulder. Her luggage was just as tired as her. They were both dragging themselves on the ground. Till she thought she had found solace. But the line was as long as an anaconda she once watched in their private theater in the mansion.

"Cymbals!"

"Is that a bar?" she asked herself.

She was eighteen but she had never been to bars before. She was also a night owl but how she spent her night wasn't what a normal teenager did. While they were under the disco lights jigging
