Magnu's POV

After Ysay and I finished eating in the hospital cafeteria, we returned to the lounge to wait for an update from the doctor. He still hadn't emerged from the Emergency Room, and anxiety crept over me during that time.

"Daddy, why don't you call Uncle Peruvian so you have someone here with you in the hospital..."

"He's busy, baby."

"Uh, how about Uncle Austin and Uncle Vittos?"

I sighed briefly and shook my head. "They're busy, child."

"Hmmm... what about Kuya Jay or Kuya Alfred?" Ysay's suggestion made me think of calling Jay; if he hadn't returned to Madrid yet, he might still be here in the Philippines.

"Alright, I'll call him, baby. So we have some company here," I smiled at her and patted her head, but before I could stand up, I saw the doctor come out. He looked in my direction.
