Chapter 21: Jax - Visiting Nick

Nick had not seemed pleased to see us, and as me and Sky made our way into the living room, the reason occupied my thoughts. Had we interrupted him in the middle of something?

Sky’s reaction did not make any sense. She seemed terrified of me.The force field. Dammit, why did I bring her here?. The force field had stripped me of my glamour and showed her my true form. Mark walked all the way back to the cabin with me in his arms.
