JENIVA'S POV
Meanwhile, more than an hour had passed, and I could not repress my emotions because of my sister’s disappearance. Even our parents did nothing but stare at me as I tossed everything I could find inside our house.
I arrived from the Midtown Disco Bar, where I used to attend every night, at one o'clock in the morning. I always looked for Nihan to make my coffee when I got home and I was overjoyed when my sister commanded me, but it startled me because I hadn't seen Nihan.
When I noticed my helper had brewed my coffee, I threw it away.
My father, Mayor Eric, awoke to the sound of broken glasses. He walked a few steps to find out who did it and discovered me seated in a chair near the table with an understated expression. The mayor then reprimanded me as he approached gently, saying,
"Jeniva, dear; that's enough. You need to relax. Stop trashing our belongings at home. Don't be a moron.”
"Aaah! It's entirely your fault, Daddy! Why did you decide to sell to Dawin through Nihan? I've had a crush for him for a long time!” I snorted at my father and hurled the vase I had picked up from our living room's center table once more.
"Daughter, we can still see Boss Dawin later, and I'll tell him you want to replace Nihan as his wife as soon as possible. I wouldn't have delivered your sister to that monster if I had known how much you adored him. Besides, Nihan dislikes him. Just make sure Dawin agrees, because if he doesn't, I'm going to murder that girl.”
"My blood is boiling for her!"
"Yes, my sweetheart. Now go to your room and relax. I'll talk to your mom more."
My mom, also awakened by the cracking noise from the living room, ran and followed my dad to find out who had thrown the ball.
I instantly complied with my father's request, entering my room and slamming the door shut.
Merly glared fiercely at her husband. She was sweating profusely, feeling anxious on the inside. She thought she couldn't speak with Boss Dawin.
"Eric, why did you promise your daughter yet again when you don't know if Boss Dawin will agree to what you want to happen?"
"I'll try again, Merly." Maybe he'll agree as well."
"Just in case," Eric says. Have you forgotten about it? Jeniva has a significant amount of responsibility for the death of Boss Dawin's workers. You're aware that it's your fault as well; you left your gun anywhere. Jenica grabbed it and used it to murder someone. Look at what occurred; if you had been more careful with your belongings, we wouldn't be having headaches right now!"
"Please, Merly, don't yell at me. Because of your garbled speech, I can't think clearly. I agreed to replace Nihan with your daughter because she and Boss Dawin had known each other for a long time. We may let him because Jeniva is the one who should pay for her transgression!"
"What? And you intend to damage our daughter? That man has a reputation for being a monster. So you don't think he'll torture Jeniva?"
"That's right, Merly! Nihan is also our daughter, thus changing Jeniva on Nihan's side makes no difference!"
"There's a big difference, Eric, because our daughter Jeniva has a heart condition, whereas Nihan isn't sick and can fight even if Boss Dawin tortures her!"
"Leave me alone with my decision, Merly." I have other intentions for when I can soften Dawin's heart. We'll be wealthy!'' Merly was enraged since she couldn't change her husband's predetermined decision.

NIHAN POV
Meanwhile, I awoke to the sound of multiple gunshots coming from outside the mansion.
Big bang!
The roar of the gunfire surprised me once more. I instantly stood up and peered out my room window to see what was going on outside.
To stop myself from shouting, I instantly covered my mouth with both hands.
When I saw the two men laying on the ground and the other two men kneeling with their wrists tied behind their backs, my eyes almost welled up. Dawin was standing in front of them with a rifle in his hand, aiming it towards their heads. Trio, his underboss, was standing next to him, clutching a hunting knife.
"Boss Dawin, please have mercy; I'm telling the truth," implored one man.
"Who gave you the order to burn my island, huh?"
“Respond!"
Dawin shot the man in the head again when he still didn't respond.
Bang!
Because of what I saw, I closed my eyes. My entire body was trembling, and I didn't realize I was crying. What fate awaits me if I am in the company of that man, who has no mercy in his heart?
When I opened my eyes again, I saw Dawin pointing a revolver at a man.
"Please, B—boss, don't do it.I have a family. I'm going to confess to you, Boss, just don't kill me," the tearful man, who was only 35 years old, said.
"Speak up!" Dawin yelled, having run out of patience.
"It's Nelson Montero!"
It took aback me when I heard my boyfriend's name. I was curious why that man was the brains behind the island's burning.
“Wait, a minute; I need to speak with him."
I dashed out of the room and over to Dawin's desk.
When he heard my weep, Dawin's two brows instantly touched. He became enraged and shifted his gaze to me.
"Did I tell you to leave? Get back in there!” He scoffed at me and motioned Trio to take me inside the mansion.
But I didn't let Trio get close to me. Instead, I approached the kneeling man and asked him.
"Why did you bring up Nelson's name? My boyfriend is someone I know. He could never command individuals like you to do something wrong."
The man glared at me and chuckled angrily.
"Then you're mistaken. Because if Boss Dawin is a devil, Boss Nelson is more devilish. He is the one who gave me the order to fire this island because he is upset with Boss Dawin."
"That is not correct! My lover is considerate. He can't do what you tell him!” I nearly burst into tears.
When Dawin realized my tantrum was going to erupt once more, he grabbed me up like a child and tossed me over his shoulder once more. He cast a thoughtful glance at Trio.
"You look after him! Make certain that the message reaches his employer."
He instantly turned away from Trio and returned to the mansion.
"Wait, a second. Allow me to depart. What the hell is going on? I yelled.
Dawin didn't seem to hear me no matter what I screamed. His steps toward his room kept going. And he hurled me onto my bed.
He did not know why he was irritated every time I mentioned my boyfriend's name earlier. His blood ran colder because I was defending my guy in front of him.
His eyes were blazing with rage as he peered at me from on top of me. He shivered and wanted to punish me as he peered down at my parted lips, as if to kiss me.
"Why do you always test my patience, woman?" he asked passionately.
I breathed the irresistible, fresh perfume of the man's breath repeatedly, especially considering the distance between my lips and the young man was only a few inches.
"I do not know what you're talking about!" I sneered at him and turned my head to avoid Dawin's harsh lips once more.
"I don't want to hear your boyfriend's name mentioned again." You're already mine because I purchased you. You’re all mine!"
We crossed our lips even though I couldn't respond. I expected him to give me another painful kiss, but I didn't expect to be given a really delicious and unforgettable kiss—the reason he forgot to fight the first time. I cherished the many wonderful kisses that every lady would like to taste.
The slow kiss exacerbated Dawin's feelings at the start, as I reciprocated his kisses. But Dawin remembered my boyfriend again in the middle of the kiss, so he nipped my lips before releasing me. When I realized the young man had stared at us for a moment, my lips opened and our eyes communicated.
"You do not know what you've gotten yourself into, lady. Because you admitted you were ready to be my wife the moment you laid down in my bed. Just so you know, you were the only woman in my room, which was supposed to be for my future bride!"
After saying so, Dawin promptly exited his room, leaving me shocked and staring into the void. I was still motionless when I heard Dawin's room door crash shut. I took a deep breath to calm myself down.
I did not know Dawin could keep my tantrums under control. Even after his delectable kiss, I felt as if I were drowning in a cloud.
I had just awoken from my trance when I remembered what the young man had said before leaving the room.
"What exactly did he say, wife!?"
NIHAN POVAfter a while, I heard successive knocks on the door. I immediately opened it and saw the face of sister Erna carrying ten shopping bags.I politely smiled at me as she asked me sparingly."Good morning. Where can I put them, ma'am?"My brow furrowed as I looked at the enormous shopping bags held by the old woman."What are those?” She was pointing to the bags."Oh, ma'am, I don't know; Sir Dawin just ordered me to take these things to his room because you're here. He says it's all for you, ma'am."I didn't have it in myself to reach the shopping bags from Ate Erna's hand. But I wondered why it was not given to me."Oh,let me do it, ma'am; just tell me where to place it."I scratched my neck because the old woman was so respectful. Sister Erna was afraid of me.
