The Other Man.

It was well deep into the night when I woke up. Another tray of food had been laid out for me as I sat up but I was not in any mood to eat anything. I was still nervous and uncomfortable about where I was. As my eyes cleared my situation dawned on me.

The irony was a sad one if I really thought about it and I did. I put my bare feet on the wooden floor of the cabin situated somewhere in the deep mountain forest of the Nepal. I had no idea why it was so far from home but I guess if you ate going against someone like Stephan, you cannot be too careful.

The room I stayed in was fairly lit with hanging lamps that shined with yellow light. My ears was ringing from the deep silence as I made my way out of the room. I had no idea what the time was but I was sure that it was late.

There was a door that had a stairway attached to it. It felt like I was walking down a basement but it led to a bigger floor. The wooden stairs creaked with each step I took. I perceived smok
