"What should I expect when we get there?" I asked Stephan who was driving us to his father's company.

"They will size you up to see if you are tough or easy," He answered me as he stopped by a red light.

"So, if I am tough, everything is fine?" I hopefully asked. Honestly, I had no desire to make enemies if this new job with Stephan was legit.

"Not really, you will still be targeted by those who deem you useful, until you are not," He replied.

"So if I am weak, I will be picked on and if not I will be used, well I do not see much advantage in what you are telling me Stephan, why bother to go?" I asked already feeling anxiety.

"You have to try and navigate through, so you can recognize who is genuine and who is not but remember, do not trust anyone because everyone wants something," He told me.

"You sound like you have experienced the office drama," I told him.
