"I have never been to this part of town before, Stephan, it is so beautiful here," Pamela said with excitement as her eyes lit up at the sight of trees and aesthetic buildings.

I smiled lightly at how amazed she was by the little things around her. It was like taking a child on a field trip.

"We should do this more often, I like how excited you are," I told her.

"That would be great, Stephan, I would like that very much," She said and looked out of the window mesmerized by all the things her eyes could see.

I focused on the road and I thought about the call I had gotten earlier. I did not doubt in my mind that Lydia was behind Dwayne calling me. She had kept on with her threat. She wanted to give my birthright to an outsider.

That was unforgivable but it was a battle for another day. I knew that Dwayne was plotting his next move as I drove but I could not be bothered. He had no guts to face me by himself, not without the help of his girlfriend.
