CHAPTER FORTY ONE

AARON'S POV

We were waiting outside of the doctor 's room as they tried to save her. I looked at a male doctor…. maybe in his early thirties.

He checked her pulse and heartbeat and attached some syringe and other hospital equipment in her arms. He was not doing anything to help her to get back her consciousness.

‘‘Are you sure he's treating her? He isn't doing anything to help her?’’ I said to her family.

‘‘Yeah…he's been her doctor for years. He can treat her.’’ Mr. Cruz said, but I can sense his doubt.

Adelio couldn't wait so he went and knocked on the glass door. The doctor set all the things then came out of the room and looked at us.

‘‘James!! How long do we have to wait? Just say it if you can't help her!’’ Adelio shouted in frustration. That man 'James' shook his head and closed his eyes for a moment.

‘‘She is not in her mind. Her pulse is weak, almost nothing. I need time to treat her.’’ James said.

‘‘Will she be fine?’’ Archer asked, staring at James.
