CHAPTER 53

VALENCIA'S POV

We decided to stay the night at Aaron's beach house. Our home. After our conversation at the beach, we came inside the house to freshen up and have dinner.

Actually I wanted to freshen up, because I have a habit to wash up before sleeping and I also wash up in the morning. I was about to enter the washroom, when the earpiece buzzed in my ears.

‘‘Romeo!’’ I said, clicking on the earpiece.

‘‘Where are you? Sweetheart!’’ His worried voice came from the other side.

‘‘I'm at the beach house, and I'm staying here tonight.’’ I informed him, walking in the washroom and closed the door behind me.

‘‘But why are you staying with him!? He doesn't look normal to me! He looks at you like…’’ He said and stopped before completing his words.

‘‘How does he look at me?’’ I asked, stripping off my clothes.

‘"He looks at you like you're his favorite meal and ready to devour you.’’ Romeo said, with clear annoyance in his tone.
