Third-person pov:

One would think Guilia was done with her scheming and plotting, but it seemed like she was just getting started.

“I can’t wait until he calls,” Guilia said the next day to Elowen while they had breakfast.

“I’m guessing you just want to see his face,” Elowen said.

“Eww!” Guilia exclaimed.

She was about to speak again when her phone went off. When she glanced at her phone and saw an unsaved number, a smile crept up her lips.

“Shh,” she said, picking up the phone. “Hello,” she said in a seductive tone when she picked up the call.

“Baby, is Elowen there with you?”

When she heard her father’s voice, her face became wrinkled. She looked at Elowen, trying to decipher if to tell her or not. Elowen shrugged at her, and she smiled.

“Yes,” she replied.

“I’m so worked up here in Italy and I can’t tell what gift to being home to her for our wedding and to apologize for abandoning…”

Before Dante could finish, Guilia heard her phone beep, causing her to lose focus.
