I think twice about getting it on with the stable guy, I’m suspecting Nico would find out about it in any case and falling out with him isn’t particularly what I want to happen, I want to get off this island wherever the hell we are, and I want a new mobile phone.

“Breakfast?” Vinnie asks me. Why is she being so friendly to me? I’m a Gianluca surely she doesn’t like me just as the rest of them don’t, they’re only tolerating me because I’m arranged to be married to their boss.

“I guess I could eat, so tell me have you ever had liaisons with Nico?” I don’t like to beat around the bush, I want to know if she’s slept with her boss, I know it’s a cliché, but something tells me there is a closeness there.

“Never, he is Nico Santangelo there is no room for me in his life other than his assistant.” I nod my head, thinking I bet she’d love for there to be more than just being his assistant.

We make our way into the large modern kitchen, the sunlight is pouring in from the wide doors that
