Chapter Eighty One

Knocking off the safety Tasha grinned,

‘I’ve always wanted to do this.’

She spun away from Alcina and fired into the crowd of men standing together in the middle of the room, two dropped to the floor with bullets in their heads two more collapsed one with a bullet in his leg and the other with a bullet in his chest. Tasha lay between the chairs catching her breath and then began to crawl behind the dais taking the men by surprise when she shot from a different position. Using the confusion Tasha caused as a diversion, Alcina checked where the other ‘owners’ were and dispatched them ruthlessly smiling grimly when the women ran for it. She had one gun left, and she knew Tasha only had a few bullets in her gun, they were not going to make it, too many men remained and there was no sound of police sirens she looked across at Tasha and saw her crouching behind some chairs.

Catching her eye she signalled to the exit,

‘Get the fuck out of here, I’ll cover you.’

She mimed and saw her frown, s
