"Stop the car," she shouted.

"No," said Rafael.

"Rafael King, stop the car before I jump out," she held the door handle tightly.

Rafael was forced to obey Eva, and he pressed the brake hard. As soon as the door opened, Eva got out of the car.

"Eva, come back." Rafael shouted, but she was walking on an empty road; she needed time for herself, but Rafael could not leave her like this; she was his wife, and his enemies could do anything at any time.

Rafael's feet pounded the pavement as he ran after Eva, his voice echoing through the empty road. "Eva, wait! Come back!"

Eva didn't stop; she didn't even flinch. She kept walking, her pace steady and determined.
