Third Person POV
Days passed by Svetlana spending her time, slumping, dining and shopping with Ashley and Juana.
She knew Luca had a hand in it but she didn't bother him, just like he didn't bother her. He hadn't come home since that fight and it was better this way, for both of them. It helped her strengthen her resolve.
Shopping was treated as a competition. If Juana bought a blue crib in six-digits, Ashley bought a pink crib in seven-digits.
The irony was that they even decided the wedding rings on their own too.
They would occasionally break out in a quarrel about the things that could only be one. Like the banquet, wedding cake, venue decor theme, etc.
That was the tightest spot for her when they turned to her for supporting one of them. Their glares came with promised dread, both the women were terrifying when provoked.
And siding with one would humiliate the other and bring her wrath upon her. Svetlana being smart w
Third Person POVShe eyed her with her orbs ablaze with rage, "To water the seed of discord, so my betrayal will bring harvest your Garden so construct your Mansion on my Mausoleum? Once he despises me, you want him to love you because you are going to be there for him, how cunning"She was certainly being ridiculous. Luca wasn't her property. Once she was gone, he could be with any woman he liked it wasn't her call to make but since when you can reason with your hearts. To her heart, she had a territorial claim on him.Besides she wouldn't be a stepping stone for a rival. If she can't have him. She would want him to be no ones. Call it her selfishness if you will but her heart wrenched at the thought. She took a step back in disbelief. Her eyes were shimmering with unshed pearls, "You aren't even satisfied by me being out of his life, you even want his memories of me to be contaminated! How can you even do this to me?"Ivana took a st
Third Person POVShe relished being in his arms but she knew she had to face the consequence of her actions.Ivana ran through her mind, she scrunched her eyes to get rid of the thought.Taking a hesitant breath, she faced her sanctuary and demise. Their eyes met like planets clashed. She felt the atrocity in her chest. He was still ridiculously handsome, enchanted shock waves ran through their contacts. He looked just like he left but hard cigar traces in his cologne spoke volumes. They stood with parted lips and longing yet consuming eyes waiting for the other to utter a word. Their silence fed the metaphorical distance between them. There was a lot unsaid yet nothing to say between them. He thought a hundred things he would say to her when he saw her but they both held bigger points of pride than hearts. She took a breath in his cologne of what she had missed and what she will miss. She detached herself from him and he let her. She
Third Person POV"Strange."Dean nodded, "Indeed strange. Why would a girl even allow that?"Vincenzo looked up and met his eyes, "It's not that, she is a weirdo through and through..."Before he could finish his sentence Daniel smirked and spoke, "We are sitting here celebrating your mini-bachelor party without even knowing who your bride is. Why don't you video call her so we can see our 'sister in-law' without actually meeting her?"Everyone hummed or nodded in agreement except Vincenzo, who would rather smoke weed then look at that snobbish woman, any more than necessary. But it was really strange already not having seen your first-cousin fiance for at least 8 years.Luca fished his phone out of his pocket to show-off his porcelain-crafted angel for the first time to his brothers. There was no harm in that. In a week she was going to be family and they would see her anyway. He hovered over her number than thoug
Third Person POVAndres was sitting by the unconscious girl from when she fainted two hours ago. She was paler than he knew her to be.Her bee-stung cheery lips had gone pinkish-pale and the natural blush from her cheek had faded. She looked like she was wilting too.Like a fragile flower in the fall. She hadn't moved an inch by then but the doctors said she was fine medically and would get up in a little while. She looked like a doll. Delicate and breakable.Since she had fainted, he hadn't left her once. When she woke up and didn't find anyone familiar around her. She would be frightened and he didn't want that for her.Today they were celebrating Luca's first mini -bachelor party but he would rather be here with his angel than with those miniature versions of devils, while she's struggling here. The party could wait, his angel couldn't.He fisted his little pixie's both ice-cold hand in his and rubbed them to warm them
She rode on the empty highway like a herd of bulls were chasing her. They were. If she was being straight forward about it.Ivana was a smart b*tch. She knew it was impossible to bring a weapon in the protected area the Mansion was situated in so she must have stolen from the Giannini's.How she did that was a bright question mark on an ink-tar paper.Getting out of the back gate when the front gate was blasted wasn't tough. She didn't even need to use a weapon. It looked like the Giannini's security sure was half-assed about their defences that they went into a shock then frenzy. She stole a Harley from her neighbours as a goodbye gift. After all, she had been their neighbour for almost four weeks now. Svetlana smirked at the thought. Luca can pay for it as a payment for the headache he had caused her for months.Luca. She will...miss him but that would probably be when she would be drunk on cheap whiskey in a cold night and reminiscing.Sh
"What do you mean she is gone?" Seth voice penetrated the silence that was pushing its domain in the brightly lit living room full of the Astor's and Giannini's. He wasn't hiding or telling them tales. There was going to be no wedding. Sooner or later, everyone was going to find their dirty laundry. He wasn't beating around the bush or making hazy statements, he had his fill for life by that woman. Well, it did happen when your bride turns out to be someone you hold a vendetta against for life. Standing with his back on the wall, his left leg bend so his foot was on the pristine beige wall of the Giannini Ancestral House, he spoke coldly, "Fled, abducted." He shrugged in a rugged way, "Who knows?" Luca wanted to be anywhere but here. He would rather but the people guarding or in authentic words 'spying' on his supposed 'fiance' reported what took place yesterday night to Seth and Donnavon and they were swish-quick to bang his phone. He
He walked out of the room despite the voices that shouted out to him. He was mentally tired and done with what he had to say. What else he could say anyway? Comforting sh*ts?No thanks. He himself needed a shrink after all this or God bless he was going to cause atrocities. He put on his Aviator classic ic! and took the coat the Butler handed him and hanged it on his shoulder. He was in plain button-down ash grey shirt and khaki jeans from yesterday and Trainers shoes. He hadn't shaved for days and his hairs weren't in their usual styled look. He shoved his fisted left hand in his pocket. His face was expressionless with his sharp jaw clenched. He looked rugged but handsomely rugged. In a wild way, he had a charm about himself. He was like a man right out of GQ shoot. The halfway were familiar and a walk through them was fueling his temper, last time it was her he walked by, crossing these halfways. The woman would do herself a favour to not appear in
Andres gaze hardened and he pulled her toward the living room her family was in. They could meet them later in their own house but it was better if this chapter closed once and for all.She wasn't blind or an idiot. She was just simple and not scheming. She could see Andres wasn't too happy by her decision but it wasn't his call to make in the first place. If he liked free-loaders it wasn't her fault because she, sure as hell, didn't like owing anybody. She didn't even ask him to come she just wanted to inform him because he had done a lot for her but he had forcefully offered to tag along. She couldn't deny him, she owed him a lot to.She keeps reminding herself, he could have left her to die in the forest where he found her or dumped her in some hospital. For her life, she should be grateful to him or her bones would have decayed by now.The Butler who was out of the living room looked at them and mostly her like he had seen a man he had attended a fune
Lana stilled all movements, even breathing, in fear she will reveal herself further. The man held the head of the chair but her sore body and hazy mind was too tired to comprehend a counter attack. She was leaped backward and er arms flail trying to take a hold of him, "Ahh!" The chair couldn't take the loss of momentum and she went rattling against the wall, blissfully though he movement stopped there . "Miserable bitch! Why don't you fucking die already?" A man lit cigarette while sneering in Russian. Her head was splitting with a headache and beside the numbness she could feel the stinging in several of her wounds. "Help me get out of here. I'll spare your life." Her confrontation was straight, she had no pretty words left to serve. The man stilled but a leering smirk too over his features. He leaped forward grabbing her hair with a savage grip. "I don't want to fucking when you have left nothing for me live by. I want you to fucking suffer like my sister did when you kille
When her eyes opened again she felt the ground shook under her. Lana shook her head o clear it but nothing helped her case, even when her her vision cleared the ground shook. She felt light headed and then she saw he vision blur once again and the view changed. Under the serene Gazebo in the spring wind a youth sat by the lake with his pen running fast solving something with astounding accuracy and speed; His pen not pausing even for once. On his desk was a timer that was ticking with five minutes and 28 seconds remaining. She floated around the boy like a ghost, everything was out of her understanding. On one side he had a young woman who looked like a maid or nanny and on the other side a man who was most probably his examiner or teacher. He was intently staring at his work like he was to end the test the instant if one step was missed or written wrong.Behind him sat a man observing him with keen ardor not missing even a single movement. He sipped his tea leisurely seeing the boy
He cut her off with a snort, "Drop the toy or I grill you beyond recognition right here." The gun wasn't going to rescue her, there was unfortunately no way around it. She was one against a dozen, even if she won, which was a high chance she won't, they would grill her with their shots She weighed er options before sliding the gun back in the car, "It's it worth. Killing me will hardly achieve anything—"His eyes were now flashing and he exhaled, "Shut up, you whore! The constant urge to feel your dirty warm blood rush through my hands has been killing me since you murdered Igor. But that Italian bastard makes you tolerable. So you are not dying right now..." It was easy to see where this was going. He planned to use her to lure out Luca. Her head snapped to Ivana who looked ather assured strangely. She gulped and exhaled, "He is not that fond of me—"Something it her in the head and she lost consciousness before she could complete her sentence.
"Sure, do so." Ivana did a loud whistle and familiar faces merged from the green heavy bushes. As the men exited with their arsenals, Lana face changed colors till she was pale with fear and awareness. At last the man that with a cane, stroking his beard with a smirk on his face emerged like a last nail in cofin. She staggered several steps backwards with as her mind registered the situation. Her Grandfather, the Head of the Kuznetsov's, was here in front of her. Her accusing tare fell on Ivanna as panic took reigns of her body. Ivana rolled her eyes at her direction of sight. It may be obvious but it was no less of a shock for her because she had always had tendencies to believe people ad limits they abide by but Ivanna, in her hate, have given her a death sentence. "Svetlana! How long has it been?" "Why are you here? " She hardly stopped her hesitation from showing. Skeptically, his face morphed into a scowl when he saw her horrified expression. Lana had always been go
Ivana waved around her gunin warning, "Now stop the drama and get out already!"After contemplating Lana got out of the car and before Ivana could she fished the gun from under the car seat then with a quick swipe of her leg Ivana gun went flying and she had her at gun point."Take the corpse and leave." Lana asserted.Ivana in return rolled her eyes and raised her hands almost mockingly. Lana stepped away from the car. But she wasn't hasty or desperate. Eventually, she would see how this plays out but blind shots weren't something Ivana did so this et up was suspicious. Telling her what Ivana want for now was like promising people because you have ulcer today, you will have ulcer till death do us apart! Ridiculous!Lana eyes wavered wildly, it didn't make sense for Ivana to be an airhead. The road was isolated except for them, both sides were covered n thick forestation. This could very well for revenge but she looked too calm with how this was playing out."Why are you doing this?"
"Hello, Cousin.""Ivana." Her lips moved and her eyes blinded in disbelief as Ivana stood here pointing the gun at her Her mind directly went to Luca ho wouldn't even know this was happening and who may never see her again. She remembered his touch... it was soothing, the softness in his gaze was something that she longed. Her eyes fell on the driver whose blood was gushing out from his corpse, "You killed an innocent man-"Ivana rolled her eyes with a cold glare, "He was an assassin tasked to kill you but he's late." It made sense, he was suspicious it apparently familiar."And FYI, it's not your first murder encounter." It wasn't. She was 16 when she first killed a man and until him, it all amount to nothing. She assumed she was frigid, or cold-blooded. The only time she had ever had fear or guilt was experiencing but nothing did it for her.P.S. as you already know I'm sick so please do with it. Regular updates soon.
The car was driving insanely fast. She hadn't even this driver before but these days she hardly paid attention to anything. You could say she was assured to the point where she didn't other. She was coming back room a meeting with Mia at a Golf Club when she slept unintentionally because of the long day. When she woke a second ago, she checked to see the driver to be a new eraon with a familiar face.Thinking nothing of it, she fished out her phone call Luca or send him her location when she couldn't find it in her clutch, where he remembered keeping it.Her breath hitched as her eyes took a look at the empty road with no living being on sight. The thumping in her heart blinded er from the surrounding.Like any child that came with a disturbing childhood, she had her demons and hated being touched, stared at or traded. She had a rough idea of what was happening. When people abducted her she could feel them penetrating her fortress of safety she had built and when they stared at her s
"Luca, I think about this often, but I would ather not say it out of embarrassment. I wonder why would you forgive me especially when wasn't even sorry." Her question as a bare whisper.Luca had been more than just a patron or benefactor. She was more useful in chains but volatile when left to the winds, and everyone who had heard of her reputation knew that. She was a wild bird, if he was wise he would have kept her locked in. But on her lowest, he had lifted her off her death bed while vultures rounded her pending corpse. And gave her respect without even shoving it in her face once. He smirked running his fingers through her hair, "I'm a man with no resolve. I'm weak when it comes to you. It wouldn't even matter if you didn't reciprocated it, you were mine the time you got out the car in front of my office."Where she had been it was a matter of times before her captors would have found a loophole in the agreement and used force to extract secrets. He pulled her close and she di
