“You come to my city and have demands.” The Don said. “Please tell me, how is your father? That waste of werewolf bowed to me.” He said laughing like he told a joke. He watched Bobby he wasn’t sure if Bobby was seriously trying to get himself killed or if he was the Alpha, he didn’t smell like it but he was acting like he was.
“I am in charge now.” Bobby snapped at him. “That is why I am here; you and your goons are going down.” He said folding his arms across his chest. He watched the movement behind him, and to the side. Everyone was starting to get pissed. It was what Bobby wanted. When you’re angry, you make mistakes.
“We’re going down?” He said laughing. “You are funny Bobby; you are more telling than your father.” He said shifting in his seat. “You have some balls coming in here trying to tell me how things are. You have two things wrong here. One you are outnumbered here, and two I am in charge here.” He leaned back in his chair lighting his cigar. “So, tell me Bobby how is the old man?”
“My father was weak,” Bobby growled. “Are we going to play games tonight, or are you going to give me my daughter?” He looked around; Ryan was pacing around in the back getting more impatient he was bound to do something stupid; this was making Bobby excited. He was going to try and take Ryan out before he dies. That was Bobby’s goal, at least before his last breath.
“Oh, so all business.” He said rolling his eyes. “Here.” He said throwing a phone at him. “Answer it when it rings.” Don watched Bobby squirm around in the chair, he knew Bobby was expecting an ambush, it was something Don and Ryan were planning to do, but they had to wait until the last possible moment. He was also hoping Bobby was stupid enough to fall for this fake conversation before the ambush happens.
The phone rang. Bobby looked down at the number trying to remember it. “Hello?” he said looking around.
“Daddy!” she whined on the phone.
Bobby’s eyes looked at Don he smiled at him. Bobby listened to the girl on the other end of the phone. He wasn’t sure if it was his daughter since he didn’t know what she sounded like he half believed it to be her. “Abby?” he snapped. “Where are you?”
“I, uh I don’t know.” She said on the phone. Someone smacked her taking the phone away and hanging upon him.
Bobby tossed the phone at Don, he was beginning to get pissed, he could feel his wolf coming forward, he wanted to let it come forward. He could tear everyone to pieces, that would end a lot of the headaches and it would make him happy. “Tricks?” Bobby snapped. “Get her here now, or I’ll kill you and eat your heart like promised,” Bobby said getting up. His eyes turned red.
“Calm down Bobby.” The Don laughed. “If anyone is going to die tonight, it will be you and then your daughter.” He said leaning back in his chair. “Now tell me where should I send your body after you’re dead?” he challenged.
“I’m not dying DeMarco!” he growled pulling out his gun, pointing the gun at the Don. “Now tell me, where is she?” he said giving him one last warning, his anger was making him lose sight of everything going on behind him. He was getting careless and not paying attention and that was one thing you should never do. He was leaving his back open and defenseless.
With a click of a gun, Bobby knew someone had their gun pointed at him. He was going to die tonight so was the Don, this family would be in shambles, he didn’t care. At least he didn’t die from his father’s word, but his own.
“Now what Bobby?” The Don questions. “You’re a cocky son of a bitch, but outnumbered. Why don’t you put your gun down and I will allow you to walk out of here, with a couple of bullets. We’ll leave you somewhere, and if your men could find you in time, then you just might live.” He said puffing on his cigar. “I will just kill you and you won’t even get a funeral and we will let your body rot at the bottom of the Hudson river if you want?” he said with a smile on his face. “Your choice.”
Bobby glance over his shoulder, he would take as many as he could, whether they killed him or not he didn’t care at this point, he was pissed beyond anything. His wolf was coming out and would protect him from the bullets. “Or I can take a chance, kill you and try and kill as many as I can of this pig family.” He said pulling the trigger, he hit him in the chest.
Two men fired on Bobby; he went down. The pain from the bullet hit like a train. Bobby went down, Ryan walked over to him. His gun still drawn on him, Ryan had a smile on his face. Bobby felt the silver enter his bloodstream. “Son of a bitch.” He spoke.
“You’re dying Bobby!” Ryan said kicking him hard in the stomach.
Bobby felt his werewolf wanted out, so he closed his eyes and let the wolf take over. Bobby got to his feet and attacked two of the men closest to the door. They tried firing on him but missed him because his wolf reflex was super-fast.
Getting to his car, he took over. He was still bleeding pretty badly. He pulled his phone out. “Mico, I need you.” He said out of breath. He didn’t want to die there, he needed to heal but they used silver on him. That shit hurts and is almost always deadly. Bobby had a small chance since he had Alpha blood.
Mico looked over Bobby, he was already bleeding out. Mico called Vince and was told to take Bobby to the hospital since it was silver if he was unable to remove the bullets because if Bobby dies then the family wouldn’t be able to recover and that wouldn’t be good. “Already here,” Mico said walking over to the car.
Bobby opened the door, “drive.” He said getting in the back seat. He tried digging around in the wounds to find the bullet, but he was starting to lose consciousness.
“Bobby! Bobby! Don’t fucking leave me!” Mico growled.
Bobby kept trying to get the bullets out, but he was going numb, so he wasn’t sure he was feeling anything but his flesh. He was starting to see darkness; he was starting to sweat. He wasn’t sure if he was even conscious anymore. “I don’t think I’m making this Mico.” He mumbled.
“Fuck!” he growled, closing the door and heading to the nearest hospital. He knew he wasn’t going to lose his Boss. Bobby would have to understand he didn’t have a choice. He had to save him.
Mico drove as fast as he could, he wasn’t sure if Bobby was still alive. He barely heard his breathing. “Fuck Bobby stay with me!” he said pulling the door open. “Doctor now!” he hissed.
Mico grabbed Bobby out of the back seat. He was glad he was a wolf too, Bobby was a big man, heavy but he managed. He was able to get him to the entrance of the ER before someone saw him and brought him a gurney and helped him get Bobby on it before Mico collapsed.
“Put him here.” A male voice said. “Wait here, we will get him stable. Gunshot wounds?” Mico looked down at Bobby before they wheeled him away, he didn’t look good. He was afraid they weren’t going to be able to save him. He hoped his wolf could save him from the silver. He didn’t want to say goodbye.
“Yep,” Mico said before allowing them to take Bobby from him. He paced the floor until the Doctor came out to tell him they stabilized him. Mico wanted to see him, but the doctor said
Bobby was in and out of Consciousness. An aroma tickled Bobby’s nose. Something about the smell made him want to get up and follow it. He wasn’t sure where he was, he could only make out a few small details. A beautiful woman came around him, his wolf started going crazy, but he was too weak to react.
“Stay with me.” She whispered. She was gentle with everything she was doing. Bobby could hear Mico pacing back and forth.
He tried to speak but nothing came out of his mouth. He laid there like he was dead; he could hear his heartbeat. He wasn’t sure what was happening.
When the woman brushed up on him, he instantly felt her. “Mate.” He whispered before losing consciousness again.
Bobby jerked his eyes open, adjusting his eyes he was in a hospital room. His jaw tightened. Mico knew he hated hospitals, and the fact he was in nothing but a hospital gown. He hated the smell; it was too clean and he was going to beat the shit out of Mico when he saw him again.“Oh, good you are awake.” The Doctor said looking at him. “You had to have two surgeries, we almost lost you on the first one. Who shot you?” His eyes not leaving Bobby’s.Bobby wasn’t going to answer him. He didn’t want the police involved; he hated the line of questioning. “Don’t worry about it when I am out of here, I will take care of my problems.” Bobby s
Bobby sat on the bed and thought about everything that has happened. He needed to call his Father Vincent so he would at least know what was going on. He dialed. He wasn’t sure how his father was going to react to everything. He didn’t want the drama, but he needed to speak with him.“You better have good news,” Vincent growled into the phone.Bobby held his breath; he didn’t want to give his father bad news or no news but he didn’t have good news either. “Not yet,” Bobby said getting to his feet. “I am taking care of things, don’t worry.” He said rubbing the back of his neck.“
“You need a good lay,” Mico said digging into the fresh food sitting in front of him. “Maybe your mate will help you out.” He said as he kept eating. Mico was right Bobby hadn’t had a good lay in ages. He didn’t have time for girls, his father always had him working, and working. He was preparing for taking over for his father, he was getting older and Bobby was the only person ready for the job.“I don’t have time for a good lay.” Bobby snapped. “I need to get my daughter and get us out of here without any more issues,” Bobby said taking a big bite of his hamburger. “I just hope tomorrow goes well.”
Bobby was getting tired of this game; he was going to have to do something about this. He knew Ryan was going to kill her, it was only a matter of time, and he wasn’t going to stand around and let it happen. He thought about going back to the hotel where he saw the Don, but then he remembered he was outmatched there, so he knew he needed to be smart. He had to have more weapons, maybe even bring in some help this time around.Pulling out his phone, he dialed Mico. “Boss?” he said before Bobby said anything.“Get some men together, come where I am. We are going to have some fun.” Bobby said hanging the phone up. He wanted to know how Ryan saw him. Any of these build
Bobby opened his eyes, he frowned when he remembered he was still in the United States. “I cannot wait to be out of here.” He said out loud.“Me either,” Mico said coming out of the dark. “She has been taken care of. She tried to reason with us, but we made sure she was dead.” He sat down next to him. “So, what’s next.”“I need to get ready for my date, I need to make a plan for the villa. I don’t know how many men I am going to lose in this. Hell, I don’t even know I am going to make it out of this alive. All my life I didn’t care if I lived or died, and now I am scared that I am going to die all because I have a dau
“Well long story short, I had a little fun thirteen years ago when I was here on business, made a mistake, and left. Didn’t find out about my mistake until three weeks ago, and found out I had a daughter and have been trying to find her ever since, so it’s been hell. The DeMarco family has been playing games with me, they have her. They started a war, and I am trying to get her out of here and kill the son of a bitch that has her. To put it bluntly.” Bobby took a drink of his wine. “I see, that is hard,” Beth said looking down at her hands. “My mom wanted to do that with me, but my dad demanded I be brought he
“Bobby this might not go our way, her father may make her go to him,” Mico said stroking his chin.“She’s a grown woman, if she doesn’t want to, he cannot force.” Bobby snapped. “I would send her to Italy, but I don’t think she would be safe there without me.” He said pacing back and forth.“Well then we’re going to have to play this safe, leave her here with me, and you need to find Abby.” He said walking towards the door, Beth was finished with her conversations. “Go in, you two have some plans to figure out.” He said to her before closing the door. “So, what did he
Bobby pulled the car over and watched Ryan in his element, he was quite weak when he didn’t know Bobby was watching. He was constantly talking down to the two women, he would smack them a few times, and stomp around like a small child.Bobby dialed his number.“What do you want you want DeLuca?” he snapped.“You are pretty pathetic with your working girls,” Bobby spoke.“Yeah well, you should see how your daughter cowers when I beat her when she doesn’t produce enough cash for me. You know she gets raped repeatedly until I get wha
When Abby left for London, Bobby was sad. He wanted to spend some more time with her but knew she had a new life now. She was going to be a mother, and she had to plan her future with her new pack. He promised himself he would visit her, whether she liked it or not, he would keep guards with her. Yes, Bobby trusted Dane to keep her safe, but she was also Mafia, so he had to ensure she was truly safe. He didn’t want anything else happening to Abby, she’d been through enough. Yes, she recovered, or put on a good show of recovering from everything.“What are you thinking about my love?” Beth asked wrapping her arms around him.“Abby, I want to make sure we plan lots of visits to her. I already miss her, and she’s going to be a mother so I want to make sure she is taken care of.”“Oh Bobby you know she is going to be taken care of and yes I would love to visit London. It will do you some good, now that ev
Days turned into months, Bobby and his family adjusted to the winter. Everyone seemed to relax into their life in Italy. Beth was happy; she was growing and expecting twin boys due any time now. Abby learned that her wolf wouldn’t be fully grown until she turned eighteen so she had time to be a teenager, and she learned more about her mate and she enjoyed her time at school and she excelled. Her nightmares stopped, she began to relax and stopped worrying about Ryan and the Italian mafia from New York coming to take her away.“Are you ready to be a mommy?” Bobby mused.“
Bobby’s POVFinding out Beth was pregnant was a shock to him, he was older and wise but being a new father scared him. He wasn’t in Abby’s life as a father so he would have to learn everything. Having a teenager was going to be tough too. She was going to be a rebellious teenager too. With her finding her mate quickly he was hoping she would be calm and collected, she adjusted pretty fast which was good. She had a rough couple of months at night, Bobby had to have guards outside her bedroom because she
Leaving the villa as it burned never felt better, Bobby put Abby in the backseat with Beth. Mico was on the passenger side, he got in.“I’m not sure we should leave them there alone, what if something happens?” Bobby said.“They are both Alpha’s and pissed off, I don’t think you have anything you should be worried about.” Mico mused. “Besides we were told to go back to the hotel, and that is what we should do. They will come back when they are finished with him.”“Abby didn’t want us to kill him, it sucks we couldn’t keep that promise.”“Who said you didn’t keep that promise?” Beth quizzed.“What do you mean
Ryan’s POV Ryan paced around his office, he wasn’t sure what he was going to do. Prepare for his death, or prepare for Bobby’s death. An hour ago Nikolai and a load of his men arrived at the airport, so it was only a matter of time before they stormed the Villa. “Ryan?” Bella whispered. “What’s wrong?” “Your father is here.” He said without looking at her. “He’s coming for you, and I have to decide what I want to do. Give you up willingly or fight until the death.”
Bobby’s POVParking the SUV, Bobby was nervous as hell, he wasn’t sure what to expect from when Abby and he had a conversation. He opened the door to where Abby was. She was a beautiful young girl, looked a lot like him. “Can you manage to carry her without waking her up?” Vincent asked. “Of course, father,” Bobby growled. He slid his arms under her gently picking her up, she rolled into his chest. She didn’t wake up, he was thankful for that. She smelled of blood. “She’s bleeding.” He asked.
Ryan’s POV Wandering around drunk off his ass, he was done making the deals he came there to make. Beth went to find out where Abby was. “Where’s Abby Ryan?” Beth asked. “She better be with her security team.” He snapped. “Well, Johnny and Marcos are over there,” Beth said nudging him. “So doesn’t look like they are with her.”
Abby’s POVWatching Ryan make an ass out of himself was enough for Abby to get up from the table. “Where are you heading Abby?” Johnny asked. “I’m stretching my legs, Ryan wants me to mingle so I might as well start now.” She said over her shoulder. “Try not to be up on me though, you’re going to kill my vibe and scare everyone away because of your presence.” “Well don’t try and run and I’ll play nice.&rdq
Ryan’s POV Ryan finished getting ready, he wore a black suit, he had his black silky hair combed back, a gun in his back. He place a black cocktail dress for Beth to wear, and for Abby, she had a long black dress that sparkled, Ryan wanted her married into Chester’s family so she had to make an impression with them, he was going to be pissed if she messed this up tonight. “Girls come down here please.” He called from the stairs. Abby and Beth both walked slowly down the stairs, both hated Ryan for making them go to this party.
