Skyler smirked and chuckled softly. “Don’t worry, I’ll put it on right now!”

His gaze was filled with a gentle understanding that Jocelyn had never previously seen in his eyes. He was making it seem like she was acting unreasonably. Jocelyn was extremely angered.

Skyler fastened her seatbelt. He then sat back and started the car.

Jocelyn relaxed her tightly clenched fists. Her anxiety washed away as well.

However, before she could completely calm down, Skyler suddenly asked her, “Right, why did you go to Quintus Hotel yesterday?”

Jocelyn’s gaze flashed as she tried her best to make her voice sound casual. “I went there to catch a treacherous couple in the act!”

Skyler recalled the intense scene that took place in the hotel room last night. He came to a realization. “You were helping Mimi Kane?”

Davis had mentioned it during the meeting yesterday as well.

Although he did not tell him who it was, Skyler could vaguely guess everything after the incident last night.
