Lexie widened her eyes at Davis. A desperate and suffocated expression filled her cold face. “You chose to believe in her instead of me?”

It was evident that Davis did not trust her.

Davis frowned and looked at Lexie. “This is not a matter of who I believe in. She’s injured! Don’t you think that you’ve gone overboard?”

Besides, her injury was extremely obvious.
