Jocelyn stiffened at once. She turned around instinctively to glance at the cold silhouette of Skyler’s back.

Her expression darkened as she glared at Howard angrily. “I’m not part of your family. You’d better stop talking so highly about yourself!”

Howard gritted his teeth and said, “Jocelyn, don’t say that. I know that you’re angry. You can vent your anger at me however you wish to. Besides, I’ll divorce Lily as long as you come back. You’ll still be the boss of Oasis Jewelry. I’ll treat you well in the future. Lily’s reputation has been ruined now. You can’t leave Oasis Jewelry. If you leave, Oasis Jewelry will be done for!”

Jocelyn did not expect Howard to cut ties with Lily as soon as something happened to him.

She smirked sarcastically and was about to say something when Lily suddenly walked in from another door. She fixed a glare upon Howard. The expression on her face was extremely ugly.

Howard stiffened in shock. “Li…Lily, why are you here? Didn’t I ask you to stay at the design department?”

Lily looked at Howard angrily. “If I stayed at the design department, I wouldn’t have overheard this magnificent speech of yours, right? We’ve just gotten our marriage certificates, and you’re trying to dump me. Howard Jung, have you lost your conscience?”

There was a panicked expression on Howard’s face. He tried to explain in a rushed tone, “It isn’t like that. Lily, listen to my explanation. Your reputation has been ruined now. If you continue staying at Oasis Jewelry, you’ll only be bringing harm to the company!”

“Don’t worry, as long as we get a divorce and you admit that your plagiarism of Jocelyn’s work was done on your own accord and had nothing to do with the company, I’ll definitely give you a hefty sum in compensation. Oasis Jewelry is the result of all our hard work. You wouldn’t want to see anything happening to it too, right?” Howard’s train of thought grew clearer as he spoke to her. He finally realized that this was his only way out.

Lily’s eyes turned red-rimmed due to her rage. She stared at Howard in disbelief and slapped him across the face. “Howard Jung, you b*stard! How can you say such treacherous words?! Up to this point, you’re still thinking about how to sacrifice your pawn to save the queen. Do you really think that Oasis Jewelry will be saved after I leave? Jocelyn White has spent so much effort to set up such a massive scheme. How can she forgive you so easily?!”

As soon as Lily finished speaking, she glared at Jocelyn furiously.

Howard held his cheek, which Lily had just slapped. He then turned around to look at Jocelyn and shook his head. “No, Jocelyn has always been soft-hearted. She’s not as cruel and heartless as you are! Isn’t that right, Jocelyn? Say something!”

Lily felt like pouncing forward to pull Howard’s hair as soon as she heard what he said. She was so outraged that she almost ripped Howard into pieces.

Howard was shocked by her wild behavior. He pushed her onto the ground and looked at Jocelyn uneasily. It was as if he were trying to prove his stance in front of her.

Jocelyn stared at both of these treacherous people as they fought. There was a heavy expression on her face.

She did not know if both of them had really gotten into an argument or they were simply putting on an act in front of her.

However, this was no longer important. She would no longer believe in these scumbags.

She looked at Howard calmly and said, “Howard Jung, there’s a limit to how treacherous one can be, but it’s obvious that you don’t have any limits. You don’t deserve to be called a human being. Back then, I must be blind to have fallen for a thing like you. You’d better watch yourself!”

As soon as Jocelyn finished speaking, she turned around immediately and told Skyler, “President…Moore, let’s go!”

Skyler seemed to be in a pretty good mood. He hummed lightly and started walking out.

Howard was so angry that she started stomping his feet. “Jocelyn White, you traitor! How dare you butter up President Moore. You won’t have a good ending…”

Jocelyn assumed that his shouts were the sounds of a dog barking. She followed Skyler downstairs without bothering to say anything.

After they got into the car, Skyler did not drive off immediately. Instead, he turned around and cast a glance at her quietly. “I thought that you would go soft-hearted on him!”

Jocelyn was stunned for a moment. After that, she let out a self-mocking laugh and said, “In that case, I’d be such a fool that nobody would even bother becoming friends with me!”

Skyler raised his brow in amusement and asked, “Don’t you think that you’re foolish?”

Jocelyn’s delicate face darkened. How could he say something like that?

Skyler ignored her reaction and continued speaking expressionlessly, “What if Howard took an audio recording just now? The moment you admitted that you had set up this entire scheme, all your past efforts would have gone to waste!”

Jocelyn stiffened as an unpleasant expression formed on her face. “You mean he took an audio recording?”
