CHAPTER TWO
Darius's POV.
I was in my car driving through town, I was just driving around surveying the environment. A call came in and I picked up my phone to check who it was, the screen displayed 'Jared ' and I kicked it up.
"Hey" I said to Kyle, my Gamma on the other side of the phone.
"Alpha,I got a call from Jared saying he needed to attend to something so he needs someone to fill in for him" Kyle said and I could tell he was driving from the sound of vehicles and hooting sounds.
"Ok, so you're headed to the south border?" I asked .
"Yes Alpha, but immediately I got the call, I sent Dylan to keep watch for me till I got there but he texted me now that he sensed some rogue along the border line" he explained.
"Rogues?!" I yelled through the phone, I wasn't far from the south border so I turned my car immediately and headed there.
"Yes Alpha" he confirmed.
"I'm going there already, meet me there in five!" I commanded and hung up.
I hated Rogues, we had a bad history with them and all I've ever known is they're trouble. We never welcomed them and always drove them away even if they were just by the borderline.
I parked my car and transformed into my wolf form. My wolf Drogo, is a Red wolf and red wolves are rare species of wolves, we were known to have more unique traits, for being mostly vicious and tough, our senses were more heightened and our characteristics are supreme to other wolves. Red wolves are rare but it was oddly a common trait in the nightfall pack.
All nightfall Alphas always had red wolves and a few pack members too.
I was running very fast through the woods as I couldn't wait to lay my paws on the trespassers.
As we went further, I sniffed more than one of them. I sniffed up to five different scents but there was one that was closer and it caught my attention more.
A sweet scent, mixture of Vanilla and wet earth which was oddly relaxing and it drew me closer. As I got closer, I loved the scent more but also it gave off another scent, Rogue.
I finally got to the scene and saw a dirty white wolf lying on the ground, she was looking ahead of her and when I looked in that direction, I saw four other werewolves scurrying away. She looked confused before she realised what they were running from, she turned to face me and she was surprised.
Surprisingly, the white wolf was big, the fact that it's a she wolf. She stood tall as I approached her… "Rogue" I roared as I got closer but my wolf started acting strange, he inhaled the air in the environment happily wagging his tail, I was mesmerised by her ocean blue eyes as she stared back into mine, 'mate' Drogo said.
My mate? I was surprised, the person I've been waiting for all my life is finally standing in front but she's a Rogue werewolf.
Kyle had arrived at the scene in his human form and I was caught up admiring my mate standing right in front of me. I didn't notice when he hit her head with his gun as she turned towards him. She howled softly before she fell to the ground.
"Mate!" I howled as she fainted on the ground. Her wolf immediately changed back to her human form and she curled up lying on the floor. Drogo became furious as he glared at Kyle because he just hit our mate.
I quickly shifted back to my Human form before I lost control of Drogo.
"What the fuck?!" I yelled in Kyle's face who just stood there staring at me.
"She's a rogue!" Kyle said.
"She's my fucking mate " I yelled and I just got more angry, to think that a rogue she-wolf is my fucking mate.
"I'm sorry Alpha '' Kyle said, I bent down to examine her and she was still breathing. I picked her up and kicked her backpack over to Kyle. He picked it up and we started leaving the scene.
"Call Dylan and tell him to come with some of his boys to comb the area, Eliminate any rogue they find" I commanded and Jared nodded affirmatively.
We drove to the pack house and I immediately sent for the pack doctor. As I entered the centre room, everyone present there turned to look at us and they were all standing in defense form.
"I smell Rogue" my sister Diane said as I entered, they all diverted their eyes to me and the Rogue shewolf in my arms.
"Who is she ?" Diane asked as everyone relaxed seeing she's unconscious.
"Found her at the South border, it appeared she was being chased by some wild rogues and she ran into the territory, Kyle hit her and she became unconscious " I explained to them.
"So?, Why did you bring her here?" Diane asked with a raised brow.
I hesitated before speaking, "she's hurt" I said and everyone just stared at me like I was dumb or something.
"She gives off a strong aura " my uncle, Damien said, sitting in one corner of the centre room.
"She's a rogue, Darius, she has to be taken far away from the Pack land, who cares if she's injured?" That was Sam, my Beta.
Drogo was already getting frustrated as it continued telling me to go get her treated quickly. I ignored him and tried to appear calm.
"I'll help you if you can't do that" Diane said as she moved closer and tried to take her from my arms. I couldn't contain Drogo anymore as he growled loudly, I bared my teeth, snarling at Diane as I held the rogue wolf to my chest.
Everyone was surprised and Diane backed down immediately staring at me.
"Mate" Drogo growled threateningly. "She's my Mate and she stays to get treated!" I said In my Alpha voice and everyone's head went low, immediately submitting to my order.

We finally stopped but it was in the woods. She took the car off the main road and parked it in the woods, then we alighted and she led us further into the woods. "This place used to belong to Ezra's parents before they passed, we always came here too since it now belongs to them," Irene explained as we approached a wooden cabin.
