FRED'S BIRTHDAY

FRANCE: PARIS

It's Fred's birthday. Rainbow hall buzzed with music at Genesis hotel. Hayden, Fred's junior brother organise a birthday party for his big brother. 

Prominent people in France are all present. Hayden wants the birthday party to be big, because it has been a year his brother has smiled since his girlfriend's incident. Hayden wants to use the birthday party to bring back his Fred's smile, looking at everything going on well Hayden smile.

 "I hope everything turns well from this moment" Hayden thought to himself.

 "Hey! Hayden" May, call and move closer to Hayden.

She wear a black backless long gown, walking in her high heels silver shoes elegantly and holding a matching purse makes all eyes turns towards her. May put on a soft smile knowing all eyes is on her, but she only have eyes for one man, Hayden.

 "You have been so busy lately that I can't even reach you" May smile softly and eye Hayden sexily.

Hayden also smile to her, staring at her gorgeous body, he quickly avert his eyes fixed on her open skin as if he did not see anything.

"I have been preparing for my brother's birthday, so I become too busy" Hayden replies.

 "I see" May said looking at the organization of the party.

 "I think the organization of the party is so good" May look at Hayden proudly.

She has been eyeing Hayden for a very long time because of his intelligent and how he handles things, above that, she admire Hayden's inherited handsome gene, but Hayden never notice her or he always pretend not to notice her.

 "If you say so my lady" Hayden said with a soft smile.

"Can I have a dance?" May stretch her hand towards Hayden and smile.

Though Hayden has always pretend not to notice May, but he has never push her away either.

"Yes my lady" Hayden bow like a gentleman and take May's hand and take her to the dance floor.

May is the heiress of The Phillips. The Phillips is a multibillionaire fashion company. May and Hayden are childhood sweetheart because they grow up together, but May went to study abroad for her university education and she just came back to France six months ago. She loves Hayden but Hayden did not seems to really like her or pretends not like her.

"A round of applause for everyone" the MC said and the people dancing went back to their seats.

"Now, it's time to cut the cake, let's give a big hand as CEO Waltz comes for the cutting of cake." 

Everyone clap their hands and Fred Waltz comes out majestically like a king to cut the cake. Despite his girlfriend's incident a year ago which traumatized him, Fred still remains the most handsome legitimate bachelor in Paris. His gentle demo accompanied with his cold personality makes thousands of ladies fall for him over and over again.

 "Whoa!" one of the ladies at the party Lucy, exclaim lowly.

 "Isn't that Fred Waltz?" She ask her friend sitting beside her as she smiles sheepishly.

"Of course, it's him" Sharon answer nonchallantly.

"Looking at him this close, I think I might die peacefully" Lucy close her eyes as if she will truly die. Sharon look at her friend pitifully.

 "Don't daydream about this elites" Sharon scoffed.

"Even if he is handsome, his personality is a mess" Sharon smirk and continues.

"I don't even want to think about those things people are saying about him" Sharon look disgusted thinking about what people say about Fred online.

Lucy turns to Sharon stunned, she look surprise to hear what Sharon said about Fred.

 "What did you mean by his personality? Isn't he great?" Lucy ask surprisingly.

 Sharon also turn to Lucy to give her the full gist of what she heard about Fred.

"Haven't you heard?" Sharon stare at Lucy as if Lucy is a fool that don't know anything.

 "After he lost his girlfriend a year ago, he has been acting like a psycho" Sharon said in a very low voice for only Lucy to hear her.

 "Really!” Lucy replies looking surprise as if she just heard the most unbelievable thing.

 "So you don't know?" Sharon look serious gossipping.

 "It was said that he sometimes fight and talk to invisible people and he is really cold to everyone around him" Sharon whisper but Lucy did not seems to believe her.

"Why?" Lucy ask curiously.

Sharon sigh and move more closer to Lucy to give her the full gist not minding the activities going on.

 "A year ago, his girlfriend was murder in his presence and he was also attacked, because of the incident, he was unconscious for sometimes and after he was discharged from the hospital he completely turn to another person" Sharon said to Lucy.

Lucy blink her eyes, her eyes fill with shock.

"What do you mean by turn to another person?" Lucy narrow her face towards Sharon to hear more.

"Like a monster that doesn't have any emotions, his a total psycho, very sick in the head" Sharon point to her head to demonstrate what she was saying.

 Lucy is really surprise to hear something like that about the great Fred Waltz, the powerful and most handsome bachelor in Paris.

"So you mean you did not hear any of it!" Sharon ask her friend surprised that Lucy did not know the truth about Fred before she lust over him.

Lucy stare for sometimes, she then look to Fred on the stage as family and friends takes pictures with him.

"I really envy his girlfriend. How i wish am the one" Lucy said smiling foolishly to Fred who don't even notice her.  

Sharon did not expect her friend to still say something foolish after all she said to her, Sharon stare at Lucy and shake her head pitifully.

Sharon and Lucy are not from wealthy background, they just join The Phillips fashions to start their modelling career, that is how they are able to get invitations for the party with the influence of May so that they can mingle with the elites since they are just starting their careers in modelling.

"Now, i will like to call Mr. Hayden Waltz for his talk" the MC said and everyone clapped for Hayden as he gets on stage with big strides.

 "Am glad that everyone is present here to make today beautiful for my brother" Hayden smile softly, his smile is so captivating.

 Hayden is a soft and all smiling person unlike his brother Fred, their personalities are just opposites. People find it easy to approach Hayden and get close to him than Fred.

"Today, i will like to present my dear brother with a very big and lovely gift for his birthday" Hayden look to Fred and smile, Fred also look at him suspiciously.

 "What gift is he talking about?" Fred thought to himself.

  "I hope you accept my gift brother" Hayden said and stretch his hand towards the entrance of the hall.

Everyone immediately turn to the direction of Hayden's hand and what they see makes them astonished.

"Isn't that Hadiza!” One of the people in the party said and everyone stand up shocked, including Fred himself. 

Hadiza walk into the hall wearing a long blue gown, she look gorgeous with the gown and refreshingly beautiful. Her round face with her black eye balls will make any man fall for her. She looks innocent and delicate as she hold her gown slightly walking through the people towards Fred who just stare at nothing else but her face.

Everyone's eyes follow Hadiza as she keep going. When she got to Fred, she stop in front of him staring into his eyes. Fred look so shocked and confused at the same time.

Looking at Hadiza who he thought died one year ago, he start to get a mix feeling of sorrow and happiness. Should he cry or laugh or hug her or shout? Fred did not know what to do and just stand still like a statue. His brain seems to have stop working for a while that he just keep looking like a fool.

 One year ago, he already thought Hadiza had died because he heard her scream his name and saw them smash the iron rod on her head and he even saw her sink into the sea, so how how earth is that same Hadiza standing in front of him now? 

Fred stare at Hadiza without blinking, he could not believe what he is seeing right now. The whole place is so quite, even if a pin should drop the sound will be heard, everyone present are also very surprised because everyone in Paris already knows that Fred's girlfriend Hadiza died a year ago.

 The media that was invited start taking pictures. Fred and Hadiza keep looking at each other like forever, it seems as if the world just stand for a while, although Hadiza's corpse was not found, but it is still unbelievable that someone that everyone thought was died is standing with them right now.

Fred keep looking at Hadiza standing in front of him, he wants to open his mouth to say something but he could not find the word to say, his eye balls start to turn red as if he will cry any moment, he try to move his hand towards Hadiza but it seems his hand are too big to carry. He try moving his legs but they just stick to the ground.

Suddenly, Fred feels a sharp pain in his heart as if he was suddenly struck in his heart, he then hold his chest in pain. Hayden who has been watching his brother with tears in his eyes knowing how happy his brother will be with Hadiza coming back to him look shock seeing Fred holding his chest in pain.

"Bother!" Hayden call and quickly rush to Fred but Fred slump before Hayden could reach him.

"Brother!!" Hayden screamed again and everyone there look flustered seeing Fred suddenly slump.

Hadiza look panicked with Fred slumping like that right in front of her.

Some of the people also rush to Fred with Hayden and Hadiza calling his name. The medias continue to take pictures of what is happening but the bodyguards quickly stop them from taking more pictures as they quickly take Fred to the hospital.
