I don't know how long I slept or when I fell asleep again but when I woke up, the door opened and I sat up, forming a protective stance because I thought it was Rafael again.

But to my surprise, a maid came in and she was carrying Mateo. I almost fell off the bed as I got off in a hurry.

"Be careful, Luna!" The maid was startled but I didn't care. I just wanted my baby.

"Ma... Ma... Ma!" Mateo waved his arms in my direction happily and babbled as loud as he could.

I swear my eyes teared up right then. I have been trying to get him to say mama for ages but he only says dada.

And now he's been separated from me for a week and he's finally willing to address me as mama. Perhaps he could feel my emotions which were all over the place because he began to cry too.

I barely even realized the maid was still there until she spoke again, "It was the alpha that asked me to bring him to you. He also said to tell you that you are free to leave y
