122: The Baby Is Mine

I felt a bit reluctant to go to Roberto's chambers, but I needed to speak with Sapphira, so I went anyway.

I had just opened the door when I saw Roberto stretching his arm towards Mateo, who was taking baby steps.

"C'mon, baby. You can do this," Sapphira cheered, gesturing for him to come forward.

"Come to Uncle. Don’t go to Mama," Roberto insisted, trying to grab Mateo’s attention.

Mateo, on the other hand, was too excited to understand their antics. He took a few steps forward before wobbling in front of Roberto, who hurriedly leaned forward and caught him.

I watched quietly as Roberto stroked Mateo’s cheek. "You can’t afford to leave a mark on your handsome face now. Your birthday is just a few days away."

"If you don’t let him fall, he won’t learn how to walk soon," Sapphira shrugged, and Roberto gave her a look that practically screamed, ‘What sort of logic is that?’

I stepped forward to make my presence known when Roberto suddenly spoke again, "I almost forgot... Sister-
