116: We Are Leaving

Even the clouds seem to be in a good mood. It's sunny and beautiful out here. I sit on a bench and watch Mateo soil his clothes while Oprah is trying to keep him away from destroying the newly planted flower beds.

She says they are mother's favorites. And I can see what she is talking about. Mateo has been standing on his feet more firmly than before.

And I'm dreading the thoughts of the chaos that will ensue when he finally begins to walk. I look up at the sky again and wonder when Rafael will return. This is the main reason why I am in a good mood today. But this doesn't mean I forgive him.
