GEORGINA'S POV.

I stormed out of the room in anger, it seemed that Joana was also angry because she slammed the door shut, turning to me.

“What does Thomas think of himself?” I asked before she could say anything. “Has he forgotten his place so soon?”

Joana exhaled deeply, she rolled her eyes, folding her hands under her breasts, with the look on her face, I knew she was fighting the urge to cuss at the king.

I stormed off, and Joana followed closely behind. The maids who stood outside rushed into the dining room, I didn't pay much attention to any of them as I hurried past them.

We got to a two-way corner, and Joana stood taking in deep breaths. “Looks like I will catch up to you,” she said.

My brows furrowed in curiosity. Why is Joana going to?

Why was I bothered? Joana also had a life aside following around like a love-sick puppy.

“Well, I would see you around,” I replied, walking away without questioning her further.

I was almost close to my room when I heard footsteps behi

GODFREY'S POV. I walked quietly to the training ground, the maids around whispered among themselves as I passed them. Today was the day I finally resumed my work as the gamma sentinel. Beta Nathan was the Alpha sentinel, gamma Israel was the beta sentinel while I was now the gamma sentinel. Gamma Israel waved his hand from afar as he walked closer to me, He leaned forward, pulling me into a tight big hug as he wiggled me. “Welcome back son,” he said, releasing me from his embrace.“I didn't see you at the celebration party yesterday,” I said. “Oh, Beta Nathan asked me to do some work so I couldn't attend but I want you to know that I am truly proud of you, you did well,” he said, his voice filled with pride. “Better than anyone expected. I will be honest with you, I didn’t think you would win that fight. None of us did. Most believed you wouldn’t survive.” I chuckled, flickering my eyes past him. Even I am left puzzled. “Well, fate is filled with mystery,” I joked. “How did

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   How pathetic, Thomas

GEORGINA'S POV. I was in my room, staring deep into the sky as I stared at the setting sun, lost in thought, holding my gown tightly, my eyes on those maids walking through the courtyard as they chatted happily among themselves. “Oh, how free are they?” I muttered to myself, taking in deep breaths.A loud knock on my door slowly jerked me back to reality, I slowly turned to the door, waiting for the sentinel to announce the person but nothing came. The door slowly opened, and the king walked in, Ashley was behind him, and some maids were behind her, all carrying a tray filled with wrapped gifts. “Georgina,” he called, walking closer. “I come bearing good tidings,” he said. I scoffed walking to my bed as u slowly sat on it, my face contorted with rage. “My love,” he called again, gesturing to the maids to present the gifts to me. The maids walked to my front, their heads bowed as they stretched out the gifts to me. I wanted to knock all the trays down, pushing the maids out thr

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The hunt for thieves

GODFREY'S POV. They didn't even give me time to enjoy my new position as Beta Nathan tasked me with different errands. I had to spend the night in my office, so I could not see the queen last night. I just hope she wasn't worried last night. I was still going through some documents when I heard a knock on my door. The door slowly opens and a young boy walks in. We bowed at the same time to each other before I realized that I was now an important person in the palace, not a slave anymore. The boy didn't seem to notice what just happened as he kept his face down as he passed his message. “Beta Nathan seeks your presence,” he said. “Okay, thank you,” I smiled bowing again. “What the fuck?” I screamed in my head. The boy noticed it as a faint smile was on his face as he bowed again walking out of my office. I dropped the documents on the table angrily, I just got into the office yesterday and I had covered ten years of work already. “Draco,” I called but he didn't respond. Drac

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   I am your god

GEORGINA'S POV. I walked through the grand hallway, the scent of fresh flowers filling the air as maids hurried past me, baskets of blooms in their hands. They were busy preparing for the big day. It seemed like we had been hosting endless parties lately, one celebration after another. Despite my busy schedule, I couldn't get my mind off Joana's recent attitude. Joana had been acting strange and keeping her distance. Could it be a lover's quarrel? As my thoughts wandered, trying to piece together what might be wrong, a strong hand gripped my arm, pulling me into a shadowy corner. Before I could react, I was pinned against the cold wall.My breath hitched as he locked both of my wrists in one hand, holding them above my head. The other hand pressed firmly against the wall beside me, his body blocking any chance of escape. My heart raced, as our eyes locked, the hallway noise seemed distant now, leaving only the sound of my own quickened breathing and the tension between us.“What

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The queen's life

GODFREY'S POVI was walking around the village market, my boots filled with wet mud, and the familiar scent of dirt, and rotten or dead animals filled the air, bringing back my childhood experiences in the village. We had dressed casually to blend in, our weapons hidden under layers of fabric. I wore a long cloak to conceal my identity, its hood drawn low over my face. The last thing I wanted was for everyone or someone to know that I was in the market searching for thieves.Nothing has really changed. Children ran around kicking a ball, their laughter filling in the air, My lips curled into a faint smile as old memories drifted back. I remembered a time when I still scavenged through the dirt looking for dry old pieces of bread, playing throughout the day to distract myself from the loneliness and hunger of the day. The scent of freshly baked bread mixed with the chatter of merchants haggling over prices. I turned, inspecting the market stalls one by one when a sudden movement c

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Breaking the silence

GEORGINA'S POV.I saw Beta Nathan and Thomas in the hallway, they looked like they were having a deep conversation, at least judging by the fact that Beta Nathan seemed restless. I was really curious about what they were talking about, I moved closer to them a little in pretense of trying to help a maid pick up flowers. Thomas was bragging about how other Alphas used to visit him, paying their respects. His chest puffed with pride as he spoke as if he were untouchable. I stood a distance away, listening silently, every word felt like a stab in my heart, the man I grew had gradually become a god and I was the one who made him. Why was Beta Nathan listening to him? Even though we might have had our differences, he knew that It wasn’t Thomas’s charm or leadership that brought him to this position, it was me. I was the reason he stood tall today, the reason for his current smile. Yet, he acted as though he had built everything on his own.I brought these two people to the palace as n

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   A business dance in the grand hall

GEORGINA'S POV.The grand hall was alive with the hum of celebration. Bright chandeliers cast a golden light over the crowd of Alphas, Lunas, and noble guests. The scent of fresh flowers and spiced wine lingered in the air, mingling with soft laughter and music. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, dressed in their finest, Tonight, I had a mission, I would take back all the glory that had been given to Thomas instead of me. I would remind Thomas that I was the real leader in the palace. Dressed in an emerald green gown that hugged my figure gracefully, I walked through the crowd, keeping my head high.Three days had passed since my heated argument with Thomas, the King. He hadn’t spoken to me since. No apology, no gift. His silence only confirmed what I already knew, a clear message that I had become a nobody. Unfortunately tonight, I wasn’t just his Luna. I was Georgina, daughter of a great Alpha, and I intended to reclaim my power and remind everyone who truly ruled the ki

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Our forever

Godfrey’s POVThe morning of our wedding arrived with the soft glow of the sun spilling across the palace grounds. The sky was clear, the air cool and fresh, filled with the scents of wildflowers and pine from the nearby forest. Our wedding wasn’t just an ordinary one…it was a sacred werewolf ceremony, a bond blessed by the Moon Goddess, witnessed by our ancestors, and celebrated by our pack. The ceremony took place in the Moonstone Glade, a magical clearing hidden deep within the forest. The ground was covered with soft green moss, and petals of white and red flowers were scattered everywhere. An arch made of silver birch branches stood tall at the center, decorated with roses. Georgina had insisted that we did our wedding here and I agreed to it. “Are you nervous?” David whispered behind me. “Because I am.”I chuckled, turning to him. “I am the groom but you look more nervous than I am.”That was a lie, my heart was on fire, and I was only faking my calmness. Before he could r

Georgina smiled and released herself from her embrace. “come, I know you have a lot that you want to tell me and you want to know,” she said dragging her away. I turned to the sentinels. “Take the culprits to the dungeon, I want all eyes on them.”They nodded and moved into action, dragging them away. • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The truth in the shadows

Godfrey's POV***The day of Georgina's attack***The cold wind blew through the thick forest as we searched for Nathan and Thomas, but there was no sign of them. “Keep looking,” I instructed the guards, suddenly Draco felt uneasy. I paused looking around but there was nothing around that could have triggered Draco. “What happened?” I asked. I could feel Draco's rage flaring up, his growl low but dangerous. Something was wrong.I could finally feel it, something was indeed not right, I looked around studying the forest, and my eyes turned to Pamela who looked uneasy. This was a trick, a trap or a diversion. “Georgina,” I muttered, my eyes widened in alarm and without thinking, I ran back toward the mountains, my heart hammering loudly in my chest. I needed to get to Georgina immediately. I got to where I left her and Alicia and found no one, my uneasiness growing as I scanned the environment, but still no sign of them. Suddenly I looked up and I saw her.Georgina.She was stand

AUTHOR'S POV. Pamela stormed into the dimly lit room, her footsteps loud against the stone floor. She slammed the door shut behind her, the echo ringing through the room, Her hands curled into fists, her whole body trembling with anger.Across the room, Alicia leaned against the wall, her arms crossed under her breasts, a faint smile playing on her lips. The flickering candlelight cast shadows on her face. “We had a deal," Pamela spat, her voice cold and sharp. “You tricked me.”Alicia sighed, tilting her head slightly as if bored by the conversation. "Your mother is dead, Pamela. Isn’t that what you wanted?"Pamela’s eyes burned with rage. “I wanted her dead,” Pamela snapped, walking closer to her. “But do you know what I wanted more? The throne,” she snapped. “I did my own part of the job,” Alicia hissed. “Your own part of the job?* She scoffed, shaking her head in disbelief. “I wanted the throne, you said you would give me the throne.”Alicia let out a chuckle. “You lost th

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The Return to the Palace

Godfrey’s POVThe rain fell hard as we rode through the palace gates, but it did nothing to wash away the blood. Georgina’s body lay cold in my arms, wrapped in a dark cloak, her face pale as the dead sky above us.I could not feel anything. No pain. No anger. Just emptiness.I couldn't help but feel this was my fault, I was the one that persuaded her to go on this trip and I led her to her death and worst of all I couldn't catch the culprits. Tears flowed down my cheeks freely, words could not explain how I felt, I just felt empty and filled with guilt. “It is all your fault, it is your fault, your fault,” the accusations kept playing in my mind.I searched through my mind looking for Draco, I needed someone to pull me back…it was just too sudden. I kept glancing back at her body, hoping Georgina would just get up but she didn't.The sentinels followed behind in silence, their faces grim, so we were crying loudly. The moment we stepped inside the palace, the cries increased. Ser

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The North sea

Georgina’s POVThe cold wind from the North Sea hit my face as I stood by the rocky shore. The waves crashed against the rocks again and again, as if trying to pull the land into the sea. I inhaled deeply not wanting to miss any part of this, I was happy I actually listened to Godfrey because this was just what I needed. For the first time in weeks, I felt like I could breathe, No walls around me. No people watching my every move, Just the sound of the sea, stretching far and endless before me.Godfrey stood beside me, a faint smirk playing on his lips as he enjoyed the view.“See you like it,* he blurted out. “The sea air is good for you, good for resting.”“Is this a way of rubbing it on my face that you were right?” I chuckled, turning my head to him. *I can't say I wasn't trying to rub it off,” he said, giving me a wink. “You need to learn I am always right.”“I sighed, wrapping my hand around his. “I can’t remember the last time I felt this… free,” I admitted.Godfrey glanced a

I got to her room, scanning the hallway, I pushed open the door to her room without knocking. She was sitting in a chair, her posture calm, but I could feel, the tension in her, I couldn't see her face since she had her back facing me but I could tell she was tired. Thomas's POVThe moment the sack was yanked off, I felt the world tilt beneath me."Beta Nathan?" My voice cracked. I lunged forward, barely feeling the pain from my torn back as I wrapped my arms around him. His body was thinner, But he was actually alive. His arms tightened around me. "Thomas..." His voice was thick as if he hadn’t spoken in a long time.Tears glistening in my eyes. "I thought you were dead! Georgina…I thought she killed you!" My chest tightened with rage, with grief, with every emotion I had buried since I had been thrown into this hellhole.Nathan let out a bitter chuckle. "She wanted to, I almost thought I would be beheaded the next day, but someone switched me before the execution. I don’t even know who but all I knew was that I was taken to another place in the North but I was still locked away."He pulled back, gripping my shoulders. "And you, Thomas? They said you were dead, too. What happened?"I swallowed hard, the memories clawing at my throat. “The Kin

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The hardest Prison in the South

The sun was scorching as it beat down on the vast prison yard, dust swirling in the dry wind. The South’s biggest and hardest prison was no place for a man like Thomas. He had spent his life in luxury, waking up in silk sheets, eating the finest meals, and being waited on hand and foot, but here, comfort was a far-gone fantasy and suffering was their reality. Sweat dripped down his forehead as he swung the heavy pickaxe against the unyielding ground. His hands, once soft and uncalloused, now bled from the rough wood of the handle. His muscles ached, not used to such brutal labor, Around him, hardened criminals worked without pause, their bodies already accustomed to the endless toil.A low chuckle echoed behind him. “Look at the northern King, struggling like a newborn pup,” a voice sneered.Thomas turned, his breath heavy. Standing before him was the prisoner’s captain, a massive man with thick scars running across his arms and a jagged-toothed grin. His name was Darius, and he r
