GODFREY'S POV.

They didn't even give me time to enjoy my new position as Beta Nathan tasked me with different errands.

I had to spend the night in my office, so I could not see the queen last night. I just hope she wasn't worried last night.

I was still going through some documents when I heard a knock on my door. The door slowly opens and a young boy walks in.

We bowed at the same time to each other before I realized that I was now an important person in the palace, not a slave anymore.

The boy didn't seem to notice what just happened as he kept his face down as he passed his message.

“Beta Nathan seeks your presence,” he said.

“Okay, thank you,” I smiled bowing again.

“What the fuck?” I screamed in my head.

The boy noticed it as a faint smile was on his face as he bowed again walking out of my office.

I dropped the documents on the table angrily, I just got into the office yesterday and I had covered ten years of work already.

“Draco,” I called but he didn't respond. Drac

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   I am your god

GEORGINA'S POV. I walked through the grand hallway, the scent of fresh flowers filling the air as maids hurried past me, baskets of blooms in their hands. They were busy preparing for the big day. It seemed like we had been hosting endless parties lately, one celebration after another. Despite my busy schedule, I couldn't get my mind off Joana's recent attitude. Joana had been acting strange and keeping her distance. Could it be a lover's quarrel? As my thoughts wandered, trying to piece together what might be wrong, a strong hand gripped my arm, pulling me into a shadowy corner. Before I could react, I was pinned against the cold wall.My breath hitched as he locked both of my wrists in one hand, holding them above my head. The other hand pressed firmly against the wall beside me, his body blocking any chance of escape. My heart raced, as our eyes locked, the hallway noise seemed distant now, leaving only the sound of my own quickened breathing and the tension between us.“What

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The queen's life

GODFREY'S POVI was walking around the village market, my boots filled with wet mud, and the familiar scent of dirt, and rotten or dead animals filled the air, bringing back my childhood experiences in the village. We had dressed casually to blend in, our weapons hidden under layers of fabric. I wore a long cloak to conceal my identity, its hood drawn low over my face. The last thing I wanted was for everyone or someone to know that I was in the market searching for thieves.Nothing has really changed. Children ran around kicking a ball, their laughter filling in the air, My lips curled into a faint smile as old memories drifted back. I remembered a time when I still scavenged through the dirt looking for dry old pieces of bread, playing throughout the day to distract myself from the loneliness and hunger of the day. The scent of freshly baked bread mixed with the chatter of merchants haggling over prices. I turned, inspecting the market stalls one by one when a sudden movement c

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Breaking the silence

GEORGINA'S POV.I saw Beta Nathan and Thomas in the hallway, they looked like they were having a deep conversation, at least judging by the fact that Beta Nathan seemed restless. I was really curious about what they were talking about, I moved closer to them a little in pretense of trying to help a maid pick up flowers. Thomas was bragging about how other Alphas used to visit him, paying their respects. His chest puffed with pride as he spoke as if he were untouchable. I stood a distance away, listening silently, every word felt like a stab in my heart, the man I grew had gradually become a god and I was the one who made him. Why was Beta Nathan listening to him? Even though we might have had our differences, he knew that It wasn’t Thomas’s charm or leadership that brought him to this position, it was me. I was the reason he stood tall today, the reason for his current smile. Yet, he acted as though he had built everything on his own.I brought these two people to the palace as n

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   A business dance in the grand hall

GEORGINA'S POV.The grand hall was alive with the hum of celebration. Bright chandeliers cast a golden light over the crowd of Alphas, Lunas, and noble guests. The scent of fresh flowers and spiced wine lingered in the air, mingling with soft laughter and music. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, dressed in their finest, Tonight, I had a mission, I would take back all the glory that had been given to Thomas instead of me. I would remind Thomas that I was the real leader in the palace. Dressed in an emerald green gown that hugged my figure gracefully, I walked through the crowd, keeping my head high.Three days had passed since my heated argument with Thomas, the King. He hadn’t spoken to me since. No apology, no gift. His silence only confirmed what I already knew, a clear message that I had become a nobody. Unfortunately tonight, I wasn’t just his Luna. I was Georgina, daughter of a great Alpha, and I intended to reclaim my power and remind everyone who truly ruled the ki

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The Meeting of kings

AUTHOR'S POV.The royal council hall buzzed with quiet tension as the kings and queens of the allied kingdoms gathered for their meeting. The table at the center gleamed under the chandelier’s golden light, while Thomas, King of the Wolves, sat at its head. His face was set in a tight mask of control, but anyone who knew him well could sense the anger simmering beneath his calm exterior.Beside him sat Queen Georgina, poised and silent. Her face filled with no uncertain expression as she darted her eyes to each one of the Kings and their wives or Beta. The kings murmured among themselves, exchanging pleasantries or talking business. King Benjamin of the Crescent Moon Kingdom leaned forward.“Your Luna, Queen Georgina, is a great replica of her father, Her proposals for expanding trade have brought wealth in one in a thousand, she reminds me of her father,” he said with a nod.Another king added, “Indeed, for years I have wondered how someone as great as the late king would appear, I f

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Veil of treachery

Georgina’s POVThe night had grown quiet, the palace bathed in silver moonlight that streamed through its high arched windows. I walked briskly through the dimly lit corridors, the hallway was silent except for the footsteps of the guards on patrol. Tonight was Pamela’s night, the night she was supposed to meet her arranged mate. I needed to know how it went.As I turned the corner, I nearly bumped into Godfrey. His eyes raked over me, lingering on my gown. It was crimson, soft, and fitted perfectly, with a daring slit that revealed my leg as I moved.“Queen Georgina,” he said, his voice low as he swallowed hard, flickering his eyes away immediately. Before I could respond, Joana walked up to me, a mischievous smile playing on her lips. She nudged me playfully. “That gown,” she teased, “it screams fuck me here oh Godfrey. Did you wear it for your lover?”I rolled my eyes, but before I could respond, she added, “Don’t worry, I will keep him busy. I will even guide him to your chambe

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Cast out of the bag

Godfrey’s POVThe room felt in silence mixed with tension as I watched Queen Georgina pace back and forth. Her gown, crimson and elegant, swept behind her as she moved. She wasn’t saying anything yet, but her mind was clearly working through a lot of things. Finally, she stopped, turning to face me, a mixture of confusion and curiosity etched on her face. “It’s Thomas,” she said quietly. “Only he would have the nerve to attack me like this.”I didn’t say anything right away. It wasn’t surprising to hear her suspect the King, in fact, I was glad she did. The king has been fucking his daughter's maid for years, from the information I have gathered, he also promised to make her the queen everything is basically pointing to him. But something didn’t feel right. The king wouldn't dare plan something this big and not involve Beta Nathan. “I know you think he’s behind this,” I said slowly, “but the King wouldn’t make a move like this without Nathan. Nathan’s loyalty is absolute. If Nathan

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Damn the queen

AUTHOR'S POV.Thomas stormed through the long palace corridors, his boots thudding loudly against the marble floor. His face was flushed with anger, his fists clenched tightly at his sides. The queen's words pierced through his ego. He didn't expect the queen to be this swift, she was taking over…what was rightfully hers. As he turned a corner, Beta Nathan appeared from the shadows. The look on Thomas' face made him know someone was wrong. He walked beside the king, his brow furrowed.“Your Majesty,” Nathan said cautiously, “what’s happened?”Thomas didn’t look at him, his jaw tight with frustration. “The queen,” he said, his voice sharp. “She’s decided I am no longer fit to rule. She wants to take over…now.”Nathan stopped in his tracks, his eyes narrowing with shock and anger. “She said that? What does she mean by ‘take over’?”Thomas turned to face him, his frustration spilling out. “She means exactly what it sounds like! She wants me to step aside, let her handle the council, th

Author’s POVThomas stormed into his chambers, slamming the door behind him. The sound echoed through the room, he closed his eyes briefly before walking towards his bed and started pacing. He knew what was coming and the fate of their pack. Minutes later, Gamma Israel knocked before stepping inside, He stood near the door, waiting for Thomas to speak first.Thomas stopped pacing, his back to Israel. “Tell me,” he demanded. “How bad is it?”Israel folded his arms. “It’s as bad as it gets. None of the packs will stand with us. Every message has been the same…excuses, refusals, silence. They have all turned their backs…and yet they want revenge for their alpha.”Thomas scoffed, shaking his head. “Then who do they want to take revenge from? The moon goddess for not preventing any of this from happening?”“They think this is Georgina's fault and her problem,” he added. “Cowards. All of them. Do they think the South will spare them if Georgina falls?” Thomas scoffed. “I am pretty sure

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   No one wants war.

GEORGINA'S POV.The evening air was cold, cold enough to freeze a fire, it was as though even the air was against me. I sat in my room, staring blankly at the map spread across the table. I hadn’t left the palace in days and there was no word from Godfrey, I was already getting scared.Joana entered the room, her face filled with worries. “I know you are more concerned about Godfrey than the war.”I exhaled deeply, closing my eyes for a brief second. “Any word from him yet? I don't give a fuck about this, I just want to make sure Godfrey is safe.”“Godfrey is safe, but no word from him yet.”I nodded, walking towards the bed. “Any news from the kingdoms.”“Well, the Black Stone Kingdom has declined to offer support. They said they cannot afford to lose more people after their alpha's death.”I sighed and turned away, trying to cover my disappointment…but honestly I didn't know what I was expecting from them.“That’s not all,” she continued. “Gamma Israel just received word from the o

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The investigation

Godfrey's POV I returned to the village in the Kingdom, where the massacre of the Alphas had taken place, determined to uncover the truth. The villagers were quiet, their eyes locked on me as I passed them. I wouldn't blame them, after what happened, all strangers were seen as a threat. They whispered among themselves, some rushing to drag their children inside their houses as they slammed the door shut. I dismounted near the center of the village and looked around, observing the simple homes. I approached a lady walking past me, she turned to me with a glare. “My name's Godfrey,” I introduced. “You are the queen's guard?” She frowned. I nodded slowly. “I am here to find out answers, there might still be danger ahead.”“Damn the queen,” she cussed. “The only danger here is her ruling,” she eyed. “Fucking bitch,” she cussed again and walked away. “We have had enough of your kingdom, please leave,” another man shouted. “I just want to find the Southerners,” I revealed. “Just p

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Shield of loyalty

Godfrey’s POV.The sentinels surrounded us immediately, their claws outstretched while some moved closer to the queen to grab her. “Enough,” I snapped at the sentinels turning to Gamma Israel. “She is the queen, you don't have any right to do this.”One sentinel stepped forward, his voice shaking, “Step aside, Godfrey. The council has spoken.”I moved in front of the queen, placing myself firmly between her and them. “Over my dead body,” I growled, my voice laced with venom as I darted my eyes to each sentinel. “If you want to take the queen you have to go through me.”Thomas scoffed. “It seems that you have more respect for the queen than the King…or is there something more to this?”I turned to him with a glare. He was nothing more than a bastard that needed to be killed. The lead sentinel hesitated, glancing back at his comrades for support. That moment of hesitation was all it took for the wolf inside me to take over.My body contorted, a sharp pain ripping through my muscles as

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   Kneel to the king!

Godfrey’s pov.The queen’s chambers were dimly lit, the moonlight sneaking through the curtains, casting silvery patterns on the floor. I hesitated outside her door, my heart hammering. After all that had unfolded tonight, the last thing I wanted was to add to her burdens, but I had to see her. I pushed the door open gently, and she glanced up, startled, from her seat by the window.“Godfrey,” she said. “How are you holding up?” I asked still at the door. “The people are scared and confused.”“Are you here to blame me too?”I shook my head, stepped into the room and closed the door behind me. “No, Your Majesty. How can I, when I know this isn't your fault?”She smiled walked over to me and pulled me into a hug. “Thank you, Godfrey, you have always been by my side.”“I'm right here,” I said patting her head reassuringly. “I don’t even know what to do anymore, Godfrey, who must have done this? It's obviously to make me look bad.”“Are you saying that someone is behind this?”She nodd

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The commander's visit

Georgina's POV The room fell silent as the doors creaked open. The Southern Region’s commander stepped inside, tall and broad, his face filled with anger. He carried two bodies, draped over his shoulders like they weighed nothing. Naya and Kael. His eyes locked with mine as he dropped them on the floor in front of me.Gasps filled the hall. Some elders stepped back in horror, while others pointed accusing fingers at him.“How dare you bring this into our home?” one elder shouted, his voice shaking. The commander didn’t blink. His sharp eyes locked onto me. “You caused this,” he said coldly. Before I could respond, another elder yelled, “You killed our kings! And now you come here as if you have any right to speak?”The gamma of the palace rushed to him, his claws outstretched ready to strike but before he could even lay a finger on him, the commandant used his claws to slice his throat. The gamma held his throat trying to stop the blood from coming out of his throat, he finally dro

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The Reckoning

Georgina's POVThe room was so suffocating that I could see my life flashing right before my eyes. A heavy silence filled the air, broken only by the murmurs of the elders as they gathered around the mangled bodies of the kings. My breath caught in my throat as I saw the rage and grief etched into their faces."You invited them," one elder spat, his voice filled with venom. “We weren't in support of this, you went on and on that you know what you were doing, see what you caused.”"I didn’t know this would happen," I said, my voice trembling."You didn’t know?" Another elder stepped forward, His eyes burned into mine. "You brought them into our home, Georgina. Twenty-one kings, dead in one night. Their blood is on your hands."“What was Alpha Thomas thinking?” Another shouted. “you might have your father's blood but you are just a woman, look what you have caused.”The accusation hit me like a blow. My knees shaking, but I held my ground refusing to crumble before them."I didn't kil

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   The Aftermath

Godfrey’s POVThe scene before me was chilling. The kings’ bodies lay scattered across the room, lifeless and smeared with blood. My heart was pounding loudly in my chest. I have never seen anything this brutal in my life. I studied the body carefully taking a deep breath, looks like a monster was the one that attacked. Bite marks deep in their neck, claws ripped their chest open. Most of the bodies' eyes were open, and filled with fear. Looks like they weren't given the chance to run for their life. I turned in a direction, my eyes picking something strange, I moved closer to study it when Beta Nathan walked in.“They did this didn't they?” He questioned. I turned to him, and immediately a sentinel rushed in. “Our king is badly injured.”Beside me, Georgina gasped, her face pale, I caught her just as her knees buckled, wrapping my arms around her. She clutched at me, her nails digging into my arm, I could see the fear in her eyes, as she tried to force the words out but all th

  • MY DAUGHTER'S MATE   A bold Move

GEORGINA'S POVTwo days after my tense conversation with Beta Nathan, the day had come to meet the Southern pack representatives. I was determined not to let fear or doubt control me. My decision had already caused enough unrest among the kings, and I had forced them all to be present at this meeting. They didn’t trust my choice, but I was the Queen now, and my word was final.Walking down the castle corridors toward the grand hall, I took deep breaths to calm my nerves. Godfrey walked beside me, placing his hand briefly on my shoulder. As we reached the tall doors, he gave my hand a firm squeeze.“You are ready for this,” he said, a faint smile that reassured me. I nodded, then pushed the heavy doors open.Inside, the kings were seated around the long table. When they saw me, they all stood out of respect, though their faces showed their unease. I walked to my seat at the head of the table and then sat down. They followed I wasn't even allowed to take in a breath when a king leane
