Georgina's POV
“Where is the Alpha?” I asked the maid who stepped into Alpha Thomas's room. I had come to call him because the guests were waiting for him but after the welcoming speech, he was nowhere to be found.“I don't know, my Luna” the maid replied as she began walking out.“Why were you here?” I asked, narrowing my eyes at her. She didn't knock before entering the Alpha's room, what was she searching for?“I was asked to call the Alpha to the party, so I thought he was here” she replied. I nodded before waving my hand for her to leave, and she did in a hurry.I wonder where he is right now. He isn't in his room, not in the throne room or the party, so where is he in the castle? Or was he with his daughter, Pamela? It's Pamela's eighteenth birthday today, and I know she is more than excited about it. We all are, I can't wait for my daughter to finally find her mate. I am more eager to know who my son-in-law was.“I'll just check Pamela's room first,” I said to myself before walking out of Thomas's room.Just as I was close to Pamela's room, I saw her pulling a boy into her room with force and angry steps. What's wrong? I wondered. She slammed the door shut before she screamed.“Never! Never!” As she screamed, I could hear the sounds of things shattering. Was she scattering her room?I was about to turn the doorknob when I heard Pamela scream,“Never! You can never be my mate!” And I froze. She has found her mate? Who?“How can the moon goddess do this to me!” She yelled, and I wondered who it was that the moon goddess had given to her as a mate. Was he that bad?“And you dare open your mouth to call me your mate!” She yelled again and my eyes narrowed,“You poor wretched imbecile!”Okay, Pamela was brought up in a different way. Spoilt by both parents since she was the only child. Well, I regret it now, but Thomas still pampers her as well. She sees herself as higher than everyone else. But I didn't mean to bring her up that way, being the princess doesn't make you automatically rude and arrogant. She just doesn't know that and whenever I try to tell her that, her father always stops me, supporting his daughter.“I didn't mean for this to happen too, my princess” I heard a male voice. I could tell that was her mate, the moon goddess had chosen for her.“I don't care! And shut your fucking mouth!” She screamed so loud that I wondered why she was so pissed.“Why can't it be some prince? An Alpha king? Why does it have to be a poor servant with no identity?!?”“I'm sorry, my princess” I heard the boy say again, and my heart squeezed in my chest. He is so calm and nice. I pushed the door open a little to see who it was, only to find him kneeling in front of my daughter.“Don't fucking apologize to me! How do I fix this now?!?” Pamela barked. She sounded so pissed as she paced around the room.“It's a good thing that not everyone heard you. I can easily just reject you, and you act like this never happened. Okay?”“Yes, my princess” he bowed as he spoke. I kept wondering who he was. He is way too gentle.“I, Princess Pamela Walker, reject you, ...”“What's your name, slave?” She asked the boy.“Godfrey,” he replied meekly. And I just couldn't help it anymore, I pushed the door open and asked,“What are you doing, Pamela?”“Mother” She called, “This slave claims he is my mate and I don't want to have anything to do with him. The moon goddess made a huge mistake, so I'm rejecting him”“Pamela, you don't just reject your mate like that. A second chance mate is difficult to come by” I tried to explain to her, but she had made up her mind, I guess.“If Father hears, he would behead him and advertise his head to the whole of Firedon Pack. I am doing him a favor” Pamela replied with a smirk on her face. It wasn't entirely a lie, Thomas was so full of himself, that he would never allow his daughter to marry a slave.“So you wish to reject him?” I asked and she nodded with folded arms.“Yes. His duty is to sweep, clean, and feed the horses. I do not want to have anything to do with someone like that”I shook my head as I turned for my full-of-herself daughter to the boy kneeling with his head down. I couldn't even see his face. From the side of his face, I could tell that he was handsome.“Are you okay being rejected?” I asked him, and he replied without raising his head,“I am fine with whatever pleases the princess” he replied and I nodded.“Fine then”“I, Princess Pamela Walker, reject you, Godfrey whatever as my mate”I heard the boy sigh, his fingers on the floor formed a fist. I could tell that he was affected but not Pamela as she continued to say,“May I never have anything to do with you from now on. A slave should remain in the slave quarters while a princess in her castle, so Godfrey, I don't want to see you anywhere near me again. This should be the last time we ever speak about this. No one should ever find out that you were mated to me, do you hear me?”“Yes, my princess,” the boy replied.“Now, clean this place up before you resume your duty at the party” Pamela ordered before marching out of the room, making me raise my brows at her. She didn't even care that I was still there.“Stand up” I finally said when I noticed that the boy had refused to stand up even with Pamela gone. The boy stood up gently, his head down,“Raise your head, I want to see your face”And he slowly raised his face, his beautiful enchanting green eyes met mine and I gasped, then swallowed.Georgina's POVI had to push myself out of Pamela's room. I didn't know I was lost in his eyes until he cleared his throat. He is so handsome and dreamy, For the first time in a long time, I felt heat within me. Pamela rejected this handsome guy because he didn't have money or a name for himself. Isn't she the only daughter? She had all that she needed, didn't she?I shook my head as I continued to make my way to the left wing of the castle, who knows, Thomas might be there receiving fresh air. The man can be strange sometimes, he would just disappear for no good course.Even as I made my way to the left side of the castle, my mind couldn't stop itself from thinking about the boy, Godfrey. He was too good-looking to be a servant. He looked like someone with royal blood in him. He is too handsome to be ordinary. I swear, I would have lost myself and kissed him if he had not cleared his throat. It was when I saw the tear in his left eye that my heart tightened in my chest. It must be d
Georgina's POV"My queen?" He called and I blinked at him before a smile spread on my lips. I totally forgot that he had said something. "What were you saying?" I asked as I moved the invisible strand of hair and placed it behind my ear. As I spoke, I made my way to sit beside the lake, just where he was sitting before I came."Is there anything you would want me to do for you, Luna?" He asked as he stood behind me and I nodded,"Yes, come sit here" I patted the ground and waited for him to come over. He looked reluctant to do so at first but finally made his way to sit beside me. A smile spread on my lips as I looked at the water instead of him."Feel free," I said to him when I noticed how he sat, he wasn't as relaxed anymore."I don't bite" I winked at him and he let out a nervous laugh. I gulped when I saw him laugh, he is the most handsome man I have ever seen and I am not kidding. Under the moonlight, he is like a man-god or is it god-man, so handsome that my wolf can't keep s
Georgina's POV"I'm so so sorry," he quickly apologized as he stood up in a hurry. I didn't want him to be sorry, I wanted him to love it. Just the way I loved it, I wanted him to also love it and want more, the same way I want more right now. "It's—""I'm really sorry, my Luna" he bowed. I stood up from where I sat, I wanted him again and again. Those sweet like honey lips, I wanted them again. But all he did was keep on apologizing. "It wasn't your fault," I said to him when I got close to him, but he took a step backward before bowing his head, "I'm sorry my Luna, it was my mistake. We should hold back to the castle now. I am sure the Alpha will be looking everywhere for you" I groaned as I didn't understand why he was apologizing and why he had to mention that bastard's name right now. "It wasn't your mistake," I corrected as I took his hand. He tried to take it away but I didn't let him."I was the one who kissed you. And I didn't do it by mistake. I did it on purpose and I'
Georgina's POVImmediately after breakfast, I began to search the entire castle for Godfrey. He has to be here somewhere. Like a little child, I was excited about this. I didn't know who I could ask and I didn't want anyone to also know I was searching for him. I had gone to the kitchen where the cooks and kitchen servants were but he wasn't there. I made my way to the garden, the servant's quarters, the throne room, and the hall, I went everywhere but I couldn't find him. Did he leave last night and didn't come back?As I was walking around the castle still searching for him, I heard the sound of the horses. "The stable," I said to myself. He has to be there. Many times, I forget we have a stable since we could just transform into a wolf and travel faster but as royalty, we are expected to travel in carriages. The stables are hardly mentioned when the part of the castle is mentioned, so I wondered if anyone would be there. What if Godfrey was there?Eager to find out, I hasten my s
Godfrey's POVMy fingers dug into her soft skin as I felt climax at its peak. I cursed breathlessly as I rolled my hips with my cock still inside her. My dick moving in and out, I was lost in pleasure not until I heard the words,"Pull out," she moan"Fuck!" I grunted before forcing myself to follow the instructions. I staggered back as realization hit me, I just fucked my queen! My eyes widened, my hands clenched beside me, my trousers still down, and my breathing hard. "Godfrey, that was…."She turned to see me standing there staring at her. I just couldn't imagine that I had done that! She is the Luna and the queen. "Godfrey?" She called and I shook my head as I was pulled out of my daze. Quickly I dropped my hand to my ankle where my trousers rested and pulled the cloth up before arranging it around my waist. My heart was beating very fast as I looked left and right like a thief who had stolen a valuable object. "Godfrey" she called again and I finally rested my eyes on her. "
Even as I walked back into the castle, I could still feel the heat between my legs. How Godfrey had indeed set my soul on fire. The smile on my face refused to disappear as I couldn't help but recall all that happened. I just wanted to get into my room and lock myself there and fantasize about him only to hear a call from behind. I turned to see Thomas at the other side of the pack house. "Thomas, did you need something?" I asked as I used my hands to wipe my gown hoping there was nothing to expose my act. "We've been searching for you all morning. Where have you been?" He made his way to where I stood, while I remained in my spot not moving an inch. Looking for me? Why? We hardly looked for each other or else it involved our daughter, Pamela. "I walked around the castle, it's been a long time since I did that, so I did today. Is there a problem?" I asked, my brows forming a knot in between. He looked around the place like what he wanted to say to me was a secret, he said, "We n
Did I mention that I hate Beta Nathan? I'm not sure. I literally hate this werewolf with everything in me and somehow I could give an explanation to my indescribable hatred now. He is friends with my husband, a cheat who has been doing it for years now, I presume. Because how will a man not touch his wife for more than two years and feel comfortable? He is definitely getting it elsewhere. There is no way that Nathan doesn't know this. He knows that Thomas has been sleeping with the maids and I won't be surprised if he also does it too. No wonder I hated him, and now he asks stupid questions to get some answer he could use to judge me to Thomas. Not like I care what they both say about me. I mean, the man had literally said I was bad in bed last night, I doubted Godfrey feels the same. A shiver ran down my spine and I felt goosebumps all over thinking about him, Godfrey. He doesn't only make my heart skip, he puts a smile on my face, makes my body react in a way I cannot explain, an
'What should I do?' I asked the old man, and he stared at me. Not the same gaze he had been using on me, this time it was like his eyes were giving me information my heart wasn't ready to hear or accept. I tilted my head to get what the meeting of the gaze was, and he said straightforwardly, 'Get a man and get married''What!' I had immediately screamed so loud that the insects and fireflies around us got really busy flying away from us. 'Listen, my dear daughter, you are grieving. Your heart is closed from everything going on in the world right now, that's why you can't see that they are hungry wolves eyeing your father's throne and want to be the Alpha of this great pack. You, my dear, would not have a say if everything is finalized, you don't even have a say now because you're a girl and not strong enough to hold a whole pack, so they won't ever consider you when thinking of whom to hand over the pack to but trust me, if you have a man figure in your life, you won't have to strug
GODFREY'S POV. At the party, I stood by the door, leaning against the wall. My mind kept going back to the strange sounds I heard coming from a room earlier. I remembered how the queen was peeking into the room. It was not like her to do something like that. She was usually very respectful of others' privacy, at least not my privacy, but even with that, who could have been in there that made her act so differently?I glanced over at the queen. She had returned to her seat without a word, but something about her seemed off. She looked distant, as if she were lost in some deep, dark place within her own thoughts.Curiosity finally got the best of me. I decided to check who was in that room that had caught the queen’s attention. Quietly, I slipped out of the party, careful not to draw any notice. As I moved down the hall, heading toward the room, I heard faint footsteps behind me. Someone was coming. My heart hammered loudly in my chest as the person approached me. I was too scared to
GEORGINA'S POV. I froze, my whole body tensed, as sweat dripped down my forehead. My heart was pounding loudly in my chest, and I could feel my hands trembling. Slowly, I turned around, almost too scared to see who was behind me. Standing there was Godfrey, watching me with a concerned look on his face. "My queen..." he started to say, but I quickly reached up and covered his mouth, silencing him.I couldn’t let him speak or make any noise; I didn't want those to brat in there to know they were being watched. The look in his eyes showed his concern and confusion as we heard the girl's loud moans. I turned back to the room and turned back to him. The last thing I wanted was for him to see what my husband was doing in that room.Without saying a word, I grabbed Godfrey’s arm and began to pull him away, leading him down the hallway. My mind raced with what I had just witnessed, and I felt a mix of anger, disgust, and sadness. I kept my grip tight, not letting him ask questions or loo
GEORGINA'S POV.I walked through the halls, the loud music from the party fading behind me. I didn’t really know why I was looking for the king, but something inside me felt it was necessary. It was as if an invisible force was pulling me, guiding me to find him.My footsteps echoed in the empty corridors, and I glanced around, searching every corner. The king wasn’t anywhere in sight. The more I walked, the more I felt like I had to keep going, as if he was just around the next turn. But each time, I found nothing. The rooms were quiet, the air still, and it felt strange being away from the party, away from all the noise and people. I felt a slight unease, like I was chasing something I couldn’t catch. I turned another corner, hoping he might be there, but again, the space was empty. My heart sank a little, unsure of why I felt this urgency. Where was the king? And why did it feel like I had to find him right now? But no matter how far I searched, he wasn’t there.I made up my mind
GEORGINA'S POV. The party had already begun, and the music blared loudly through the room. People were laughing and chatting, but I sat quietly, my eyes fixed on Godfrey. He stood across the room, looking calm and composed, but all I could think about was when I would feel his strong rod sliding inside me again. The memory of our last time together flooded my mind—the way his touch made me moan, the thrusting, the sweat dripping off our body, the taste of his tongue. The sound of our moans played over and over in my head, impossible to forget.I was lost in my thoughts when Pamela suddenly touched my arm, pulling me back to reality. I flinched, surprised, as she sat down beside me.She had insisted on throwing this welcome party, trying to hide the shame of Prince Benjamin’s rejection. Thomas, her father, agreed to the party, wanting to cover up the fact that his daughter had been rejected by the prince. It was all just a distraction, a way to make things look normal.Pamela didn’t
GEORGINA'S POV. As I watched Beta Nathan disappear into the hallway, I couldn't help but smoldered at him with resentment. His final words lingering in my head, and although he didn't say it directly, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I had just been threatened.“I swear if you so much as to touch Godfrey's hair, I would kill you,” I muttered, clenching my fist in anger. Joana appeared at my side, her face etched with concern. “What happened there?” she asked. “Why did the king suddenly summon you?”I sighed, brushing a hand through my hair. “The king called me in to question me about Mill’s death. He thinks I should have stepped in, that I should have done more.”Joana scoffed. “He always wants to put all the work on you; he knows that you are the real woman in this palace,” she whispered. “It is good the king left it in my care; for the first time I am using his incompetence to take care of Godfrey.”Joana frowned, her eyes narrowing. “Does he suspect anything about Godfrey?”I s
Author's pov. Alpha Thomas paced back and forth in his office, his face filled with anger and frustration. He stopped suddenly, glaring at Beta Nathan, who stood nervously before him.“How could this happen, Nathan?” Thomas demanded, his voice low but filled with anger. “Mill was our finest warrior, a man that led thousands to battle and always came back victorious, and now he’s dead. I left you in charge while I was away, and this is what happens.”Beta Nathan darted his eyes left and right, struggling to find the right words. “Alpha, I understand your anger,” he began slowly. “We are still investigating. It seems Mill was poisoned, but we don’t know yet who is responsible. We are still searching, but the murderer has covered their tracks well.”Thomas’s eyes narrowed in anger. “Poisoned? And you have found nothing? How could you let this happen under your watch? You were supposed to protect the kingdom while I was gone, Nathan. Instead, one of our own has been killed. You failed.”
GEORGINA'S POV.I jerked up from the bed, my face flickered to anger. What the hell was she talking about? How could she be so wicked to think about that?“Mother, please that is the only way I can be happy,” she pleaded.“No,” I shouted. “Pamela, are you hearing yourself?” I snapped.“Mother, you know this more than I do, the moon goddess won't give me another mate till he is gone.”“She would certainly not let you get married if you kill your mate,” I eyed. “Who gave you such wide thoughts?”“Mother,” she shouted.“Pamela,” I shouted back. “We are taking another person's life because you want to have a life.”“Mother, he is just a slave,” she shouted throwing the pillows to turn ground.“And he is someone's son, someone's brother, a friend, you need to start respecting people's life.”“Mother, who do you love more?” Sh blurted out.“What!” I scoffed. How could she asked me that question? I know I also love Godfrey but how could I place her above him…no, I would place Godfrey above h
GEORGINA'S POV.I let out a sigh of frustration as I rolled my eyes, this wasn't really necessary, Beta Nathan insisted that we all wait outside to hear the good news of the princess, Pamela was my daughter, she was the one who was supposed to come to me with good news not me waiting for her. Yes, we have the king, he must have enjoyed himself over there, draining his balls with perfect ease. How pathetic for me to wait for such a man. The king’s carriage rolled into the palace courtyard, its shiny wheels casting a glow to the ground, The horses snorted, their hooves clattering on the stone path. Around the courtyard, people stood quietly, heads lowered, waiting. The carriage slowed down as it neared the steps of the palace. Everyone stayed still, well except me of course, I was hisses every second. Finally, the carriage stopped. The slaves ran to the door gently opening the door of the carriage. The king slowly stepped out, his face brimmed with a bright smile. Joana moved close
GODFREY'S POV. Sam led me to the edge of the woods as the morning light filtered through the trees. We walked quietly, the ground soft beneath our feet, with the sound of birds singing above us. The air was cool and fresh, carrying the scent of the damp trees, As we went deeper, the trees grew taller, their branches creating a soft canopy. Fallen leaves crunched gently with each step and the distant rustle of the wind filled everywhere. We didn’t speak, just walked together. Sam was the name of the man, after much begging for him to train me he finally accepted but ever since then, Draco went silent. Sometimes I wish I could trade my werewolf for some bread, he was so picky and had this strange strong arrogance, how can a wolf and its master have different personalities?Draco said I hurt his ego by begging Sam to help me out, but he forgot the part where we either die or we have to leave the palace. “I heard the queen was sick,” he blurted out. “How is she now?” I turned to him
