Chapter 86

After the encounter between Kirklin and Alexandra in his office, his ears began to buzz continuously and he called his driver to take him to the hospital immediately. The pain he experienced in both ears was so uncomfortable that the doctor admitted him to the hospital for 2 weeks. He informed one of the directors to take charge of the affairs of the company as he didn't tell him he was under hospital admission.

At first, he tried to work from the hospital bed but the pain in his ears wouldn't allow him to do anything so the doctors advised him to leave every form of work activity for that period and concentrate on his recovery. Kirklin was in a luxury hospital suite but he became very lonely as there was no one to call him to check up on his health. He had severed relations with his family and they didn't know that he was hospitalized so they couldn't fly in to visit him.
