Chapter 59 ~ Hidden Intentions

Ethan arrived home and rushed straight to the living room. He didn't find Rose, so he rushed back downstairs and found her in the kitchen.

He stopped in his tracks and looked at her. She was so focused on the meal she was preparing that she didn't hear him enter.

“What's keeping you so busy?” His voice spoke, making a scream escape her throat,

“Ahhh!” She looked up and almost dropped the plate, but Ethan was quick on his feet and held her, keeping her steady,

“Careful.” His voice whispered in her ears, making a shiver run down her spine.

She felt hot everywhere on her body as she pulled away from him,

“You're home? I've been worried.” Rose said.
