Chapter 55 ~ Fear

Rose’s eyes widened at the question. Her heart was pounding wildly in her chest as she moved backward. Ethan only closed the gap with each step she took backward.

“I asked you a question.” His deep voice repeated. His alcohol breath fanned her face.

“You’re drunk, Ethan. Let me prepare the bed for you.” Rose said as she tried to pass on the side but he grabbed her arm and pulled her back,

“Don’t fuck with me, Rose.”

Rose felt her blood boil as she pulled her hand away from him with a glare,

“You know what, I don’t want to do this with you while you’re drunk. Let’s talk about it tomorrow!” Rose said.

Ethan smiled, a cold chilling smile that sent a shiver down her spine. He raised his hands and stepped back, “That’s fine.”

Rose released a sign of relief as she watched him descend the stairs, she watched him with a worried expression afraid that he’d fall, so she walked towards him and helped him get to the room. When they arrived, she removed his shoes and pants leaving him with only
