“That bastard! Did he really say that?” Natalie squeaked in her chair.

“Simmer down,” Rose whispered as she smiled and mouthed an apology to the angry-looking faces around her.

“Girl, just give me a go-ahead and I’ll have a one-on-one with him!” Natalie said angrily Before adding, “How could he just say that? So much for loving him! This is why I say love is overrated.”

Rose sighed, she had gotten used to the cold side of Ethan but it didn’t mean it hurt any less. Feeling like her heart was weighing her down, she looked at her friend and said, “ Well, it’s not like he married me because he fell head over heels for me so it’s okay. I’ll move past the divorce and maybe I’ll find someone who truly loves me.”
