Chapter 110 ~ To forget

“Another!” Natalie shouted over the loud music as she drowned in a shot of tequila.

Being a lightweight meant she couldn’t handle more than four but she was already on her 6th. Her mind was spinning and her vision was blurry. It was like the world was going in circles and she hated the dizzy feeling. But there was nothing she could do about it.

For once she wanted to feel nothing. Her ex had maxed out all her credit cards which she recently found out. In addition to that, her mother and sister were a constant pain in her ass who kept causing trouble and expected her to clean up simply because she educated her.

Natalie was tired.

“I think you need to slow down.” The bar attendee said and she only laughed, barely able to keep her vision focused.

“Are you giving me the drinks for free or am I paying? Besides, the more I drink the more you thrive in your shift, so leave me alone!”
