Chapter 63

After Anthony's dinner with his parents had ended, he retired back to his bedroom to rest. He got a phone call from Benita.

Anthony wasn't in the mood to speak to Benita. He rather switched off his phone as he was irritated with the fact that his mother was in support of Remy to marry Lerisa.

It was already nighttime. Anthony sighed and lay on his bed trying to sleep.

He remembered his childhood days with Lerisa when he usually invited her over to escort him around. They toured their neighborhood together and sometimes received comments from people that they were probably a couple.

"Hmm, but it's not right. Why does Mom want me to marry Lerisa?"

Anthony was unable to sleep. He got out of his bed and went to search his closet for where he had safely kept the engagement ring that he bought for Clara Harry.

Anthony didn't find the ring in his closet. He walked out of his bedroom and searched his bed drawer. There he saw the ring box.
