Chapter 1
Sienna;
"Fucking whore!"
"Slut!"
"You should be ashamed of yourself, fatty!"
The words echoed around me, mingled with laughter and giggles, as I lay, shivering on the cold ground in the school cafeteria.
It was the day everything in my life changed...well, not exactly, as I always knew I was not the most liked in the school, but hearing those words out loud was like raw eggs splashed on me.
Literally.
Shamefully disgusting.
And that was how I felt. Filthy, and whatever word fits the context.
His scent filled my senses, that musk-scented cologne I had come to love, and I saw his shoes as he came closer, "Please, Adams. I'm sorry. Please don't..Arghh!"
The sole of his shiny Nike shoes stepped down on my palms, and he pressed down harder, "Keep this in mind, Sienna. One. You are worth absolutely nothing." I gasped, as something splashed on my face, and I could smell the disgusting fishy water.
"Two," Adams sneered, " You are useless and a disgrace to this school. And three, you are just a stupid shameful slut who thinks I, Adams Black would have anything to do with someone like you!"
He stepped away from me, and I let out a sharp breath, unable to lift my hands which burned so badly.
I lifted my head to stare at him, but my hair, dripping with ketchup, and whipped cream, covered my face.
"Wait. I'm kinda confused here. Adams, did she just say she's carrying your child?" Lisa, my once best friend, cackled as she walked towards Adams.
Adams snaked an arm over her and kissed her lips, "Unfortunately she did. Could you believe that? I can't even bear to look at her face, not to talk of actually..." with a look like he wanted to barf, "sleeping with her!"
I swallowed painfully, keeping my gaze on him. His eyes met mine and for a moment, I could have sworn his eyes softened for a bit. But that wasn't Adams.
That wasn't the guy I had been crushing on. This wasn't the guy who told me he loved me a few weeks back.
That wasn't the guy that took my virginity a few weeks ago.
I was a fool to think I could get anything out of informing him I had missed my period, and the test had shown positive.
"Yeah. I can imagine her infatuation with you, Adams," she walked towards me, "But all that would change today," She stretched a hand towards Adams, and he handed a bottle to her.
Lisa smirked, and my eyes widened.
My eyes caught the label.
Hydrochloric Acid!
No!!
I crouched back, but Lisa's friends held me down, as she stepped forward, "You think you look beautiful? You are hideous, baby girl."
"Fucking right!" Adams sneered, a smirk dancing on his lips, "I think she needs a reminder of how disgusting and irritating she is."
Those words...sent a sharp pain to my heart and I stared into his eyes for a moment. Pleading.
But he was indifferent. A stark contrast to how he held me when I had foolishly let him take advantage of me.
I glanced around, but as usual, almost everyone else was engrossed in their meal, and not the least interested in what was going on.
Lisa was handed a glove, and then she began to open the lid of the container.
I thrashed widely, eager to get away, but she steadily stepped forward.
"No! No. Please, don't do this. No!!!"
"Sienna!"
My eyes snapped open and I met my father's gaze from the mirror's reflection.
I blinked, a wave of relief crashing over me.
I had zoned out again.
But my little moment was disrupted, when my hair was pulled back from the back, "Don't you dare mess this up, Sienna. Remember, this is the only way to save your mother. You mess this up and you'll never get to see her again."
"Yes, yes father. I..I promise I won't disappoint."
He let go of my hair and left the room, letting me stare at my reflection in the mirror.
My name is Sienna Foster, the only child of my parents.
And today was my wedding day.
Four years ago, I had gotten pregnant in high school, by my crush, Adams Black.
Needless to say, I was expelled from school, and my mother, well... she didn't take the news well and had gotten a heart attack right then and there.
It's been four years since, and Mother was still hospitalized. We were not exactly rich, but the little we had was spent on her medications and treatment, but it wasn't anywhere enough.
It was more tough that I was also carrying a life inside me. Tct.
And of course, my father never failed to remind me how it was all my fault, threatening me to abort or leave his house.
But I was too far gone to get rid of it. Besides, I never wanted to. I gave birth to my boys months later and dropped them off at a foster home, promising to be back for them, when things were better.
I spent most of my time shuffling part-time jobs, struggling to make ends meet, and most especially for my mother's treatment.
It's been this long, and things are only beginning to get better with the sudden arranged marriage. Apparently, an old business friend of my father was willing to help us sort the bills for my mother's treatment. But on the condition that I marry his son.
It sounded way too cliche to be true, but as my best friend, Sasha, said, she had overheard my father speaking with someone on the phone and he'd mentioned something like they needed an heir in the family.
Truthfully, I didn't care. If this marriage was a means to my mother's good health, I was willing to take it.
But as I walked down the aisle, with my veil draped over my face, my heart thudded faster in my chest.
I kept my gaze up. Staring, but not really looking. The groom was right there. My soon-to-be husband.
I had sworn off men years back, mainly because then, I believed no one would want me either way.
But rather, it was because the only one I ever loved made me feel worthless. And I wasn't about to give my heart out to another.
This was actually better. He helps my mother, and I help bear him an heir. Simple.
Or so I thought.
I didn't realize I was standing in front of the groom, until a deep low voice whispered, "Hello, Sienna.."
I met his eyes. And my jaw dropped. His strong hands immediately circled my waist, as I stumbled backward in shock.
Just like that, my heart rate increased. I couldn't breathe. It was suddenly very noisy in the hall... but what I saw were the cafeteria walls, the people gathered around, laughing, taunting...
"Slut!"
"Fatty!"
"You're not ashamed of yourself!"
"I would never want someone like you!"
The last thing I saw was the high chandeliers above me, and someone calling my name. And everything went black.
Chapter 2Sienna;I let in a sharp intake of breath, and my eyes snapped open. Looking around, I discovered I was in a moving vehicle. Feeling something warm and soft against my cheeks, I blinked. A hand was on my hair, and fingers gently brushed my face.I sat up sharply, realizing I was resting on someone's lap. My eyes trailed up from the black pants to a toned chest, hidden beneath a black shirt, tight against his torso. My stomach churned, as I saw the face.Adams.The Adams Black. His eyes were closed. He was... Sleeping? "What..what..." I choked out, unable to form a coherent sentence. A familiar ringtone sounded from behind me, which I could recognize as mine.I grabbed my cell phone from the car seat, not wanting to dwell on how it, or I, rather, had gotten here in the first place."Hello?" My voice was shaky, matching the loud thump of my heart."I knew you could never be relied on!" My father's deep angry voice sounded from the other end, and I blinked, "You couldn't eve

I tried to move away from him, but his hold on me was just so tight and firm."Please, Sienna," He held me so that I was looking directly into his eyes." I know an apology will not cut it...."My heart thumped loudly, and I moved my head away, but he held me in place, his voice firm, but soft, " Please just listen. I know there's nothing I can say or do right now to make up for everything I did in the past, but be rest assured that I will spend the rest of my life making amends. I am deeply sorry, Sienna. You do not have to believe it but I am." Scoffing loudly, I pretended like I didn't just hear him say that. He's sorry my ass.I stared at his eyes. Those same blue shades as my sons. They both had blue eyes. I felt a lump in my throat and I forced my eyes away. I refused to be reminded of those times when we sat together in the empty classroom.
