Her 2 day trip in Mauritius had reached it's end . These days introduced her to an intrepid side of herself . She had so many assembled episodes , each beholding an emotion of it's own. Destiny had granted her a golden opportunity to come out of her hell hole and interact with the outer world which was so enticing and heart filling.

She wondered why people found this world a synonym of boredom , although for her it was the ninth sky. There were infinite things to love and live for yet people preferred cribbing. Crying over things they couldn't afford rather than cherishing the blessings showered on them.

"How was your flight? Did you reach safely? " Benjamin asked his sister who had landed in New York an hour ago. He was informed by his guards about her safe travel to the SMILES Orphanage. " It was fine. Just some jet lag nothing else. Ufff.." Serene let out a sigh while changing her position on the bed. She felt the stiffness leaving her body. Her flight was an emotional journey that made her realize that Expectations are a failure. People use you momentarily as per their convenience and leave. Without any word, without any regard. But she could not blame Rowan completely. Even she had enjoyed the kiss which was pure bliss for her. She had participated equally at the moment and may be granted the access to hope to fill her heart and baam.... it crashed leaving her with nothing but a cracked heart. During her journey, she had realized that they were nothing but mere strangers who shared an&nb

SMILES ORPHANAGE" Good Morning children! " Mrs. Williams greeted the children who had formed a circle around her group, some being enthusiastic like a bee while others calm like the sea."Good Morning miss," they shouted on the top of their lungs anticipating the motive of the arrival of strange faces. The children at Smiles Orphanage were extremely warm and welcoming. Although they were prey to a barbaric fate, they still had their innocence intact. They still believed that their parents had become stars or angels protecting them from above." I am Mia Williams and this is my group. We are here to have fun with you, little flowers. We'll dance, sing, learn and grow together hand in hand. Are you ready for this amazing talent show ?" she said loudly."Talent show? What is that ?" asked a 4 year old, energetic boy." Rowan expected the answer and he got it wrapped in an excited yell." No! I was joking. Come with gifts. I am not angry. I swear." Joey exclaimed hurriedly not willing to miss the pleasure of gifts. ITALY"Sir I got a call from our French business branch. The manager informed that Paris Pearls, the biggest fashion house of France are hosting their fashion week and they have invited the top businessmen from all around the world, we are one of them." Carl informed Benjamin who was checking the revenue files of their legal business." So what! Do you think I have time to attend such petty fashion shows? They invite businessmen for their own publicity and I am not a fool. My presence will profit them more than me. So return it with a NO." he sternly declared and went back to calculations while Carl nodded turning to leave. But abruptly stopped." Sir I think you should attend this." Benjamin raised his eyebrow mocking his audacity to cross-question an order." Are you asking for a death wish because even if you are not, I am about to grant you." warning wa

PARISThe land of food and fashion was surreal. The glistening tall buildings, the notorious fascinations and the tempting fashion stores could easily tingle your heart. The seduction of The City of Lights and Romance was enchantingly wrapped in the blanket of winter breeze. It was a salvation for a wanderlust soul.As Benjamin strolled out of his jet, he took a breath of composure and put on his shades. His Bugatti was readily waiting to take him to his condo. He sat inside so did Carl. It had been almost 3 years since he came to France earlier it used to be strictly for business but this time he thought of taking a small break for at least 3 days. While leaning back in his seat, he realized how robotically he was working for so many years, some lethal missions, disgusting auctions and sometimes even busting trafficking deals. He sighed because of the solitude he felt in his heart and life. The absence of Serene did no wonders

SMILES ORPHANAGE The evening was crisp yet somber. The setting sun cast a rosy hue across the evening sky casting shadows on the ground. Rowan felt his heart soaring with delight looking at the familiar walls of the Orphanage decorated with cartoon paintings. The grass had grown greener and the flowers flourished merrily. As he walked past the gates, the nostalgia filled his eyes and throat. Although he was away for a week, he still missed the warmth of this place. The memories tried to rush back but he blocked it, he was too indulged to let sadness and pain sink in. It was almost 7 in the evening and he could hear the wild chatters of delirium from the dining hall. It was dinner time as per the schedule of the orphanage. He decided to freshen up before meeting the kids. The time he opened the door, he could feel his heart rate increasing. It was stagnant, not

SMILES ORPHANAGE Serene squinted her eyes to stop the notorious sun from tickling her. It was a vibrant day with sultry warm breeze merrily dancing. She gazed at the wall clock which struck 8 in the morning. She still had an hour for the breakfast. She lazily rolled and moved towards the washroom for a calming shower. As she winded up and toweled herself dry, she looked up and her eyes turned misty. She generally avoided looking in the mirror and whenever she did, her true self was buried under layers of concealer. None knew her true self except her brother and Mrs.Williams who were introduced to partial truth. Now, when her gaze raked at her raw form, she could see the proof of being ugly and a disgrace. There were faint red marks on her arms and her thighs decorated with whip marks. Her left breast had a large scar running down her stomach, mocking her. It was still fr

L'ARC PARIS The atmosphere of the nightclub was wrapped in muck sweat due to the grinding bodies and whiffs of cigarettes and weed. The ill-lit bouncy lights made the place exciting for youngsters and a harbor for illegal affairs. The shouts and hoots did nothing to erase the molesting memories out of Benjamin's brain. The sparkling liquid swirling in his glass was a perfect illustration of the emotions he was feeling. The morning instances flashed in his brain. He had chosen to jog to empty the burden of encounters but returned with a steel boulder on his shoulders. It was ruffling and perturbing for him. He drowned himself with another set of drinks in an attempt to wash the stains of reverberating voices. He had gone berserk on Carl for driving him to her place and intruding in his personal life. But from inside, he was scared. Scared of saying or doing something that could cause her pain. He desperately wanted but couldn't. So they silently left after a t

Benjamin entered his condo, still trying to digest the hurt and humiliation he was pelted with, he had expected the accusation but the slap was definitely a bonus. Her fiery eyes encumbering her wrath made him drown in guilt. He wanted to confess the truth but he couldn't because in a life like his, Love was a treacherous lie and she deserved much more than that. He stood under the shower and a tear escaped his eye. How cruel was life to compel him for curbing his feelings? He banged on the wall muttering profanities and retired for sleep, probably in hope of meeting her in his dreams. The following morning was somber for both hearts. One was hurt and the other was blazing. " Come on Rose, what's the harm in meeting for Lunch. It's been ages since we last met." insisted Aaron, who was a great friend of Rose from College. He was an Architect and was currently on a break visiting Paris, so was convincin
