CHAPTER 39 TAYLOR “What was that man doing here?” Michael's voice suddenly came from behind me and I quickly looked back to see him standing behind my chair with a furious look in his eyes as he stared at me. “I don't know… he just introduced himself as Nick to me and I told him off. He didn't spend up to a minute here” I replied and he looked back at the so called Nick’s direction before looking back at me. “Are you sure he didn't say anything else to you?” he asked and I frowned because why was he acting so paranoid about a short conversation that I had with a stranger? “He didn't. Just introduced himself to me and walked away after realizing we’re married” I said and he sighed before taking a seat beside me. “He's the son of a weapon merchandiser and his father is a son of a bitch so we don't get along. Be careful with your words if he returns to speak to you” he said and all I could think about was that for the first time, he was telling me things. It felt so unreal.
